8 Bosses...

I was just wondering...why are all of the 8 bosses after classic series animals,plants,bugs,etc? Was there a reason as to why they went from men to animals,etc? The closest boss to a man is Boomer Kuwanger and I don't even know what that is honestly.

Don't know the reason. And Boomerang Kuwanger is is a beetle, obviously. I think it was pretty cool. I saw some very nice animal designs.

REALLY???? lol i never would have noticed cuz i always saw him  as a man with claws on his head and a messed up nose lol i feel stupid but anyway maybe capcom just wanted to go a different way other than this man and that man and give these things special powers of their own.IDK i was just wonderin'.....

A Stag Beetle, specifically. Called a Kuwagata in Japan, which is where the second part of his name comes from.


Don't confuse that with Kuwagust Anchus of the Zero series, who is themed after the same insect.

kinda funny that Boomer and Cutman have the same ability! lol


It's strange that they went from man to animal but if you think about it some of the robotmen (and woman) are based off of somthing else.


Hornetman, Snakeman, Plantman, Centarman...

With Reploids they use different animal designs in order to compensate and mimic those animals particulars and climat handling. Notice, Chill Penguin. Being station within an Iced Continent. Iced Stage... Wouldn't have made sence if it was say Chill Cod...


 


Plus the animal/plant designs change things up froum outside Classics 'Man' type enemies... It is a nice change that I'm glad they stuck with.

yeah for the most part but some of them were kinda out there like flame mammoth being that mammoths were around during the ice age and spark mandrill,but i think that its unique in a cool way to give a random animal,insect,etc. power to their characteristics and even those who don't have anything special to just give them a different power like burn rooster and snipe anteater.........lol its good to do your animal research,jus found out what a mandrill was...

I remember how the megaman series motivated me to research different animals.  I was trying to come up with cool new animals as bosses.
