I think that will be too much data for the ds game chip thing but maybe it could be made in pairs 1-2,3-4 |

You could have posted a link from the prior topics about this... Plus, you may get better responses within the General MegaMan Board.
Either way, I'd like one, if it was done right. Remastered music (yes the remastered tracks), the drama tracks acted out in cut sceen, axed material added as unlockable... The works to make them Complete.

Meaning...You believe that a DS cartridge cannot store enough data for 4 GBA games? I'm wondering if MegaMan Zero 1, 2, 3, and 4 even took up the full capacity of 1 GBA cartridge. Also given how much I've seen other games store on the DS, I would assume this is possible. I mean look at what Capcom did with MegaMan ZX, MegaMan ZX Advent, MegaMan StarForce (the series)...and what Square-Enix was able to manage with like Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings. |

You are comparing Zero 1-4 to ZX, to ZX:A, to FFXII: RW...? Rather irrelevant. They could all fit onto 1 DS cartridge... But with Remastered tracks taking up a bit of space, and animations (if applicable)... But if it is just the 4 games, with original intact material, it would fill up the 1 cartridge. If it is with remastered tracks, possible updated to match ZX quality, with the trailers being part as a 'pre title stage animation'.

After reading through the Complete Works art book, I kind of got interested in the earlier ideas that the developers had wanted to pursue. If they were to do a compilation, I'd like the original developers to get back on it, and implement some of the ideas that they had scaled back on, and maybe even offer the players alternate universes and story lines. I'd love the option to play a version where the Guardians were all blue, and players fought X instead of Copy X. For those who didn't know, the original X was replaced with Copy X just at the end of production, and the only reason why Phantom blew himself up was because the designers thought it'd be a cool way to go, and didn't know they'd be doing sequels. They also had other regrets, and it'd be cool if they had a chance to address them. Of course I don't want them to re-write the Zero story, but I'd like the option to at least experience the 'what-if.' It would offer a lot, and wouldn't take much: change the color of some sprites and make some new ones, write new scenes and dialogue, add a few levels and program some new attacks...they've already done the brainstorming for most of it.

DS cartridges can vary, from what I've read they can hold UP TO 32GB!, so it would be a bit more expensive if it had the 4 games remastered, because of a "bigger" cartridge |
