Is there a section where people can submit ideas for Megaman storylines or systems that Capcom might take a gander at? Or heck, just for the sake of entertaining the forum's frequenters XD...
If not, can I just post stuff here? |

You can post all the ideas you want, but Capcom will not take a second guess if those look them over. They cannot accept outside ideas. For any reason, with no exception. However, you can either post and get replies, or you can create a group that is specific to MegaMan ideas and generate more feedback.
Just remember, it cannot be used by Capcom. Legal issues will arise.

Well that bites :/... Say, off note, if I wanted to make a Megaman fangame... I see people do it all the time, and they always put the "this game is not meant to be sold" disclaimer on there. Is it still illegal for them to put it on a network where people can download it? Figured I'd ask, since you brought up legal issues. :P |

Since Fan Games are illegal as is, they fall under "Free User" type agreement. Whic his why most fan games are not subject to persecutions. They put those disclaimers on there, because if they receive any form of profit from the game, they can be sued to copyright infringement.
Plus, it reflects the actual property owner. You can make a game, you can share images and videos. Not sure of an actual download... But you'll be wise to put a disclaimer such as "All contents are copyright protected by Capcom. Game is not intended for profit."
