Tthats YOUR opinion... Anyway I get your point, to go from 2D to 3D is hard and Capcom didnt put a lot of effort so thats why X7 turned bad |

Megaman X7 sucked period....sorry I love megaman and **** but I dont feel X7 part of the series the game just suked play MEgaman 1-9 then X-X6, Z-Z4 after that Battle network was good...but after the first game I hated the series also hated the MM's makeover....then the story just got stupider....ZX just felt wrong, How can they name a game ZX if Zero and X are long dead....wrong....srry but capcom hasen't taken the right decision about the Megaman series for awhile. To me Megaman died in X6 although Megaman Zero was an awesome addition but it left even more questions to the whole series. Im tired of typing.

I agree in the fact that ZX is the wrong name for that game. For gods sake Model ZX has NOTHING to do with X!, I mean look....
I dare someone to tell me at least ONE "X" characteristic in this model! I was actually upset, you can really see the favoritism here.... |

It's called ZX because of the fuzion of Models X and Z. Nuff said.
Fire burns Earth......Fire is fanned by Wind.....Fire evaporates Water.....Fire is freaking awesome!

Mike, you cant simply dismiss a game from the series because you didnt like it. X7 actually had very few things wrong with it.
Voice acting aside, it had poor level design, and a broken phyisics engine. As well as having the main character unlockable in his own game.
But other than that, it was pretty well made. If Capcom had put effort into it, it could have been good. I mean, Command Mission, although it was an RPG, had good stage design, (as in it wasnt a straight line like X7) and the graphics were even better than X7. The voice overs were better as well. Its an example of Capcom actually putting effort into the game.
the Zero and ZX series are not made by Capcom, but by Inticreates. the characters, are Capcom's. it i called ZX because, like Jose said, it is the fusion of Model X, "the blue Magaman" and Model Z, "the red Megaman" to form ZX "the ultimate Megaman" which is basically Zero, with the buster from model X. it is also pretty symbolic, as X and Zero were always the best as a team, and when they fought together, were unstoppable. ZX mirrors that as storywise, being the strongest form out of all the biometals.
Plus, Zero and X are not dead. Their souls are inside of their respective biometals. Ciel ressurected them as biometals. so they are still very much alive, passing on the mantle of "Megaman" from X and Zero, to Vent and Aile.
Remember, "Megaman" is not a name, but a title. Something that Rock earned himself. the name of "Megaman". Which X inherited, as the original's successor, and Zero inherited as X's succesor, taking on his role in protecting those his friend believed in, and fighting injustice. in ZX, the term megaman/Rockman is simple the term used to describe someone using the R.O.C.K./M.E.G.A. system. a R.O.C.K man. But we can safely say that with X and Zero both unable to fight themselves, they have essentially passed the mantle of "Megaman" unto their succesors, Vent/Aile. |
