Well, nobody knows the answer to it. But its fun to just think about it, what do you guys think happened to the rest of the characters by the X series? I want to know what happened to Megaman though when X was being created, in the Day of E Megaman wasn't even in the lab when Light was constructing X, so whats with that?

The world was at peace as Willy was missing, but he was secreatly creating Zero. After a lot of defeats against MM, Willy became more of a mad man, whos obsession is, now, to destroy MM more than to conquer the world. Light, MM and the police were on a investigations to find Willy where-abouts. By the time the investigation was over they found Willy was in an underground lab in the northwest of japan. A big operation, lead by MM and Protoman began, they reach the lab and found Willy, but he had a evil smile in his face, he turn to MM and he was all pale and looking very old almost sick to death. "Dont move Willy!" said a policeman but then Willy pusehd a button, the policeman inmediatly began to shoot, he shoot Willy's arm and Willy went to the ground but then a big capsule near to Willy started to open. Zero open hes yellow eyes. Protoman wnet after Zero but this one, with a single punch Protoman wnet out flying, Zero looked at MM and felt something weird, a strange obsession, he just wanted to destroy MegaMan. They fight but both MM and protoman were losing (curiously Zero was more interested in fighting MM than Protoman), Willy had en evil mad-man happy face."Get out of here!" yelled Protoman to Dr.Lght and the other policemen but Zero began to chase them as MM and Protoman were on the ground. Zero killed the policemen and then we was in front of Dr.Light ready to kiil him. MM pushed Zero away and yelled Dr.Light to leave.
Dr.Light didnt want to leave because he knew Zero was very dangerous. But Protoman asked MM to leave too. Anyway they leave leaving Zero and Protoman alone. They returned to Light home and ge begun to repair MM, but they were very worried about Protoman. Only 2 persons came out of the lab Zero and Willy. Ok this is gettin to long lol =P
Anyway at some point Zero stopped obeying Willy's orders. Bass joined the battle so he , Treble (I dont know if its written that way)and MM went to the last fight. It was useless they were totally defeated by Zero, a big evil lough came out of Willy and he said "destroy Bass first he betray him....now hes going to suffer!" but Zero didnt pay attention to him and went after MM, Willy lost his patience "Listen to me you piece of metal, I own you, you are mine"......and Zero smile evily to him and say his first words "I belong to nobody, Im tired of hearing I dont you anymore...". Both MM and Bass were surprised. Zero went to kill Willy but then with a serious face he took out a remote control and push a button. A "W" apppeared if front of Zero's head "jewel" and he begun to grab his head as it was hurting him, then the passed out. All the place was in flames. "I....failed....you werent finished...hehehe in the future....itll be different....Ill come back and destroy you MM!". He left with Zero as MM and Bass were already unconscious.
When Light (with Roll, auto and everyone) arrived Bass was gone and MM was damaged beyond repair. Light took MM home as he was merely alive, so Light made a choice. To create the ultimate robot, in honor to MM, this robot will be based on his operation system. It took him 15 years to develop him, hes name was "X"....MegaManX. Meanwhile in a dark place a red robot was also slepping, and an old man was working on a project.
It actually sounds cool, and I think the "project" mena the way Willy was able to put his mind (soul or whatever) in another being, a vessel (Serges, Issoc etc).
So what do you think guys??? is this probable?? what mistakes can have this "plot"???
WHOOAA!! that seriously explained just about everything to me. i already knew that MM and X were different robots but i never knew why dr. light would discard MM or how MM would have died. now that i think about it, i'm not guessing that you know what happened to the other guys(roll, eddie, etc.). and now that i think about it again, is the wily in MMBN the same as the one in MM. if so, how did he survive for so long.

No. As far as I know BN is a different timeline. The fact that is based on MM is one thing, its just a different "universe" if you can call it that way.
Now, Ill try to go depth ih the theory so this is goint to be surely long:
The fact that Willy is obsessed with the destruction of MM: Well this is probably the part that fits perfectly, is kind of obvious. If you want "real" explanation then go see the dialogue between Sigma and X in X5; Sigma said that theres some one else that hates him. In other words Willy has survived all this time just to destroy X, wich means hes a wacko lol

Plus to that in the Power Fighters Bass's ending Willy says to Bass that hes working on a new project ahd then an image of Zero appears. Bass doesnt care about it so he have no intentions of telling that to MM or anyone. So maybe Bass made contact with Zero and realized that hes the robot Willy was talking about. He cant beat him either so he join MM just to, somehow, that hes even stronger than Zero. "Ill help you MM but then Ill destroy you!" somethinh like that. This suggest that Power Fighters IS that last MM game, well...maybe
The fact of Zero presence: If the theory is true, then Zero was a menace, destroying everuthing in its path, surely everyone knew about him....a Wily robot destroying everythin, surely it was in all the news around the world. So if Im not wrong X was meant to stay sleep to at least 100 years but he was awakened only 30 years after the was sealed. I dont think the WHOLE world could forget Zero (if it was such a big tragedy) in only 30-50 years. Is like saying that no one remembers Hitler lol. BUT then again maybe this was a 1-day-event, all happened in one day, so the news about Zero didnt go around the world

Wily survives in a Digital form, and has been proven to bounce between bodies. Serges and Isoc. So Wily lives on not as a Human. Plus, this is common X knowledge.

No. Bass turned on Wily after MM8, before MM9. And in PF Wily only foreshadows Zero. They never met. As Wily finishes Zero ner the end of his life. Zero was never active outside small conversations (possibly) with Wily. Other than that, Zero made no contact to any Classic cast. None.

Nope. Zero was within a Capsule. The same as X. He didn't do anything of the such, and only did a bit of damage after awakening. He caused no calamity.

That was triggered because Wily wanted Zero to destroy X. Not to waste his time with other reploids. Thus, Wily stepped in to stop playing with a near beaten 'enemy'.

After Wily is beaten, retires to finish his 2 projects. 3 essentially. If Bass doesn't kill himself getting the power he feeles he needs to destroy Rock, then he kills himself protecting Rock so he could destroy him later. He wouldn't let another step in on that. Notice MM&B.
As for the others, it is a good theory for them to have joined Duo in leaving the Planet to help him with his battles. Bass perhaps, but for the others, it could apply. And works better than just 'killing them'.

I really agree with this.. More the Zech's point, sorry bro. But this already seems truthful as the end of Megaman 9, it stated Dr Wily went missing, and ZeroX's theory seems to cover that. Megaman 10 should take place for Zero then. But that should definetly be in 3-D graphics. And I have a feeling a X9 will exist soon.
Zechs this just a theory, I dont know if its true or not. If you have proofs that its not then tell me! =).....Im not being rude...really if you haev proofs that Zero wasnt never activated before tell me! because thats very important lol
Anyway is pure fan fiction, but a cool one I have to admit and that somehow fits in the time gap. Plus...Zero vs MegaMan....cool! sorry I just think that fight would be epic..
Plus Willy was creating Zero to destroy MM, and his development was already commented in the PF. I dont think Willy wanted to put Zero to sleep. "Yeees! I finished...my master piece!!....oh crap...Im too old, Im gonna put him to sleep" lol I dont think it makes sense. In PF Willy made clear that Zero was meant to destroy both Bass and MM. So the fact that he finished Zero, release him but Zero somehow beatray him makes sense with the "contro mechanism" (the W in his head) and that he HAD to put him to sleep.

I know hes alive in, somehow, a digital form. When I said survived I didnt meant in ahuman body...just that he survived =)
