Dude....listen:
There are two timelines in the Mega Man universe. The robot time line and the network timeline.
Both of these timelines have NOTHING to do with eachother, story wise. The Wily in Classic/X is NOT, I repeat NOT the same Wily as in Battle Network. In the robot time line, robotic tech moved onward, in the network timeline, network tech moved forward.
I can't make it any clearer than this.
Think of it as...two different universes.
Fire burns Earth......Fire is fanned by Wind.....Fire evaporates Water.....Fire is freaking awesome!

Albert's Legacy is still in effect. Grey survives with Model A. And He is Albert's Back-up, so Grey retains all of Albert's knowledge. Ourourborus remains are still existing. Even if they cannot be senced or not. They remain... And the fates of PnP are undetermined. Plus, Thomas almost picks up with where Albert left off. There is quote of bit to come. And is still instigated by Albert.

Thomas is most definitely going to move in the direction of Carbons.
"So, where do you think the human bodies fo the reploids are?"
Carbons are artificial life forms, and they can interchange body parts on the fly, yet they are organic. Somehow, the idea of 'reploids with human bodies' most definitely seems like a precursor to carbons. |

Indeed. Inspired or diectly taken for technology research. Though we can at least guess that it is quite a while before Carbons come around. Thousands of years, but definately not just a few years after ZX...
The true Reploid/Human merge, the Carbon.

Model A is mostly speculated into a conjecture. Though it si the more reasonable approach is to assume it is Axl. BioMetal needs a Cyber Elf. Cyber Elfs come from CyberSpace from a fallen Reploid whom had the Will to remain.
If any other Reploid is to become a Model... It would be a touchy subject... Due to if you go deep enough into CyberSpace, you can find trace of probably any reploid. Keep going and you'll find something. Though it is many years from 'research' for anything to that extent can be extracted. So it immediately comes down to Will. Craft had the Will as shown in Zero 4... Elpizo is already a Cyber Elf, but an unlikely candidate... It may not even come down to a new model. It may focus on PnP, which essentially their Models is Model W...

Eh, there's a lot of characters from the X and Zero series that could work as biometals. Although I recall that over 2 years ago, BTD threw a hissy fit when I suggusted Vile, since version differences mean that technically there's already a Model V in the series. Still don't get that argument. Strictly speaking, in ZX1 two different forms were refering to with the letter H. Still, I imagine that the games might go the P&P route and technically make you play as Model W, or continue with Grey and Ashe, I assume that was the reason for the whole A-Trans thing.

I think I recall that argument... It would still make sense for both, had both existed. Model W(V) looks like Weil. Model V (V) would look like Vile. The image would imply which character it is. It wouldn't be hard. Plus the complication would mostly be in the Japanese version (as you stated), where many things are taken as implied, so it would be like second nature over there...
But I'd have to agree with PnP... They can be utilized more directly. Being the prime candidates to remain constant in both titles... Though I can't shake the feeling that there is just 2 more characters who need to be heard... Somewhere...

Zechs, a cyber elf does not need to be from any specific reploid you know. It can be created. a reploid soul, its cyber elf, is also created. only it has a humanoid body. A's cyber elf could be a competely new being. |
