An important Mega Man question

Hello everybody. I am a real big Mega Man fan. Have been since I was a kid. I still enjoy his games to this very day. But there is an issue that I need cleared up. If someone cares to answer it, please do. This question refers to the creation of the six original robots of the first Mega Man game. Cut Man, Guts Man, Ice Man, Bomb Man (my favorite), Fire Man, and Elec Man. Who created them? Was it Dr. Wily or Dr. Light? I originally heard that Dr. Light created them and Dr. Wily stole them and reprogrammed them to be evil. Dr. Light created them to perform various tasks that can aid him in the lab. The eight Mega Man 2 robots were created by Wily. I used to always think that the MM5 robot masters were created by Proto Man. But how can Proto Man create robots when he is one himself? Thank you.

The original 6 were indeed built by Light. Wily stole them and used them to his advantage.

Wily built the 8 (12?) in MM2. Light and Wily created all but ShadowMan (who WIly discovered and used for himself) in MM3. And ProtoMan didn't create anything. He was just another peon to WIly at that time. Since Wily found him and changed his internal generator, ProtoMan assisted him for a short time.

And in MM5, that wasn't ProtoMan. That was a Wily built look alike called DarkMan.

It is fine. Small portions like that are easy to skew into everything else within the series.

I think he means any Gamer/Development Awards... To what I recall, MegaMan hasn't received such. Though has been revered by Magazines... And shot by G4tv...

great game, i hear people all the time say, o they are all the same game.  No they are not! diffrent weapons, bosses, stages, the only thing the same is mechanics but hell, why would you complain about that play one and pick up another. Nothing wrong with that.

Of course these are all people who play WOW and wow is well, just wow at what you have to pay in order to play, and they tell us our megaman is the rip off. How dare they!
