I liked the idea of battle Network taking place on the internet--it seemed to be current science fiction, and very possible. I know I'm in the minority, but I was drawn to the original Megaman in part by his story of being a robot boy, and in part by the idea of a robot-dominated future. I thought the science fiction applications were pretty cool. I'm not sure if StarForce has the same appeal though, since the search for extraterrestrial life doesn't seem to be a hot button topic like it was during the early 90s. The idea of BN appealled to me. DId the idea of SF appeal to you guys? (at first, or maybe later?). |

It did to me, personally. Alot of the questions I have in my head are all about space, and alien life, so I was able to relate to the story. Ever since I started playing (I JUST got Starforce 1) and saw the 13 dubbed episodes of the SF series, I've been finding myself wondering more and more about the possibilities out there. |

If you know me, you will know I am a spacenut. I love to sit out on my deck and gaze into the night sky, particularly if there is a full moon. I also find all of the mythology and stuff about space very cool. So the first game was the bee's knees, and the second lost points for focusing on Mu instead. (although the real history of Mu is pretty interesting too) It is actually kind of funny, just before the first starforce was announced I had an idea for a game focusing on space and constellations. It is still quite different though, if anything it is closer to battle network, but only a couple ways that have been heavily modified. (my Taurus is a wind attribute, boxing bull and not a very special character at all.)
If you would like Capcom to make a sequel to the BattleNetwork series, centered around Patch, Lan's son; Please join this group to try to send Capcom the message.
