I had an idea, upon reading the Udon articles about the Megaman Complete Works.

This idea is a game... Could be downloadable too. Ready for this?

Megaman 1 for XBLA and PSN.

Imagine how awesome that would look.

After Super Mario All-Stars came out during the SNES era, I kept thinking to myself, what if they re-did the first 6 Megaman games with the graphics style of MM7... Afterall walking through that museum seeing 16bit versions of Snake Man, Skull Man, Gyro Man, had me all giddy at the fact I could be playing the awesome old-school games with much better graphics.

Alas, it did not happen, and the only compilation we got, was the 8bit games... One has to wonder how awesome these games could look with redone art, and not kiddy looking like Powered-Up. Which was still an awesome game and I would take a sequel of it. However the money for this kind of project would probably be best suited for DD.

X9 would be awesome, as long as they don't play lazy by just reusing 16 bit graphics like they did with 8bit and MM9. MM9 is a fun game don't get me wrong, but it also felt like a step backward. Would've been nice to see graphics look like Powered-Up, or redone like the new Rocket Knight downloadable coming out soon on XBLA and PSN. The X series is always my favorite.

ZX3 would also be nice. I do like that series.

A MM10 would be nice too, but again, don't make it look like MM9.

However, my idea has always been in my head since the Mario All-Stars game came out back in the day. I would like to see MM1-7, 9 redone to look like MM8, or even 1-6, 9 redone to look like MM7, or all redone with Udon art ala SSF2THDR.

Legends 3 would be okay I guess. I own both, but never played them.

Anything but more rehash of these EXE/Starforce games which seem to get priority.

That would a super awesome idea!!!! My favorite has always been the X's series, I just love them!!! In fact I really enjoy all types of Mega Man, but I would really like Capcom to remember the X's series and developed a new Mega man X9; although it would really be a good idea to develop a good compilation of the first mega man or Mega Man X (or both of them), all remastered with new graphics, sound, items, stages... I think this would be the game of the century!!! Because it's true that Mega Man 9 is a good game, but I mean, Capcom can do a lot better than that, because it is one of my favorites, and I know that if they propose themselves to develop a really good, awesome game of Mega Man, they would totally blast us, with a game far beyond our expectations.... I just hope, they will....
