...If you want to get picky, the Black Armor for Zero in Mega Man X4 does give the purple saber right off the bat. So in that sense, it does "power up" his attack specs a bit. I don't know if it's the same one you get for beating Storm Owl (I think it was him), but yea...that's at least something. =P |

He's mistaken. Its been gone over by many a megaman fan, and damage has been compared. there's no change to Zero, because there are no upgrades for power or defense that he can get in the game. in X5, he can, thus he gets them in his black form. |
