How would you change Model P?

Of all the bio-models, I find myself using model PX the least--I don't enjoy using it.  Am I just using doing it wrong? I even prefer Model L.

But enough complaining:  How would you change Model P, if you could?  If you think it's fine just the way it, make the case.  Personally, as far as Model PX is concerned, I don't like wasting my BM gage whenever I need to shadow dash; I prefer charged blaster shots to P's weak, rapid fire kunais; P's spinning star costs too much BM,  has limited range, and there's no good way to take advantage of its return homing; double tapping up or down is too clumsy of a mechanism for P's wall cling.   It's too slow to execute, and doesn't seem natural.  (I'm the type of guy who dashes with the R button, rather than double tapping); PX only has one weapon, so it can't charge and fire at the same time.

But If I could only MAKE ONE change, I'd  leave all that as it is, and give P a dash and slash.

If I could make more changes, I'd give P two weapon slots; give it foot abilities like speed, double jump, water jump, and shadow dash, and light foot; reduce the number of button presses needed to move on ledges; and give the spinning star an arc like the Shield Boomerang.

If I could make even more changes...well, maybe I've already suggested too much.  Seriously, would the previously suggested changes not be appropriate?

It doesnt really matter how you use it depends on how much you use maybe you just dont like it or it's abilities.

I replayed ZX again a few months ago, and gave myself the following challenge:  Go after the model P pseudoroids first, and use model P as much as possible.  It was fun, but harder than I expected it to be, mostly because of Model PX's bad design.  In all fairness, I did play ZXA first, where Sirnaq was a better polished character and the level's were better suited to his abilities, but even then I wasn't impressed with what Sirnaq offered.

The problem's not my lack of experience with model P, but with the design of model P himself.  If anyone ever thougt "hey, model P would be so much more fun to use if only _______," this thread is for you.

If you disagree with my assessment of model P, and you have a different opinion of him, then please share it. If the only real reason I dislike model P is because he doesn't fit my intuitive playing style, then HOW I use him really does matter, and by employing different game play styles, I might enjoy using him more.

Personally, I find ZX1's Px to be more useful than P. first of all, the rapid fire kunai are extremely usefull in stags like Potectos, and so is its hanging wedge. then theres the shadow dash, which really SHOULD have been a default ability, or at least hav made you invisible CONSTANTLY for the amount it drained. the charged giant shuriken was satisfying to use, and I liked the sheild.

now, P in ZXA, introduced a better sheild, which was actually offensive as well as defensive. however, Ashe therefore could not use the giant shuriken. Grey got that. I rather dilsiked the new angle the kunai throwing direction had.

I feel you sanjiv! I too challenged myself but only for one aera!It was quite pleasant to see all my shurikens kill everythingon the screen and hang on drop-thru floors but other than that i didn't like either Px or Siarnaq that much. I think it should have been based on Phantom more like Fx and Atlas (who i recently found out was a girl!!!!) very simalrly portrayed Fefnir, which is probably why neither are able to move while shooting! Fightiing Phantom in cyberspace in Z3 gave me more interest in his style of fighting. Px should be able to slash and use decoys and at least have invisibilty! In my opinion, Phantom was the most poorly portrayed Guardian of all!
