I too am curious if they'll ever continue/resolve/go into further depth on Wily in X, as well as debunking the Cataclysm myth. Relating to that second part, here's what I would like to know: Is Mega Man, the original, classic, NES Mega Man, meant to be something like an epic saga in tone, as many people seem to think, or is he really just intended to be a mascot character, Capcom's answer to the Marios and the Sonics out there? I ask because I think people are trying to see the original series for more than its creators are intending for it to be, and penalizing it for not living up to that lofty standard. And if you need me to clarify or simplify part of the question, you know where to find me. ;P Oh, and I guess an obligatory "How is Legends 3 coming?" is a good one. Actually, one more: The NES, Super NES, and even some PlayStation Mega Man titles have been re-released in various formats for different consoles (Cube, Xbox, PS2, Wii). Will we ever get to see the Game Boy Mega Man titles again in some fashion? A lot of people missed out on those during their initial run, and would love to get to try them. Edit: I need to stop, or I'll be here all night, but this one is less a question, and more a plea: PLEASE make Mega Man Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X available as PSN/Xbox Live Arcade downloads. Gotta agree with LBD on MMPU and MHX. While I doubt WiiWare could hold them, they need more justice than what the PSP's done to them. Now, my question... If a Mega Man 10 were to be made, would you hold a Robot Master Contest for us players to make up yet another set of Robot Masters? If so, would North America be eligible, as in Mega Man 6's Knight Man and Wind Man? I might think of more later. |

Well... Here goes nothing. 1: Do you ever visit any of the websites ran by Rockman fans? And If so which ones? 2: How do you feel about the spriting comunity? Or the act of ripping sprites from rom files? 3: Would it be possible for you to allow people to download the sprites used in Megaman games, without making the comunity resort to ripping the sprites from a rom file? 4: With the realease of an 8-bit Rockman 9, could we expect to see a possible 16 or 32-bit X game again? 5: What would you suggest to those of us who would like to get into the area of character design and game programing, as far as education goes? 6: How would the different Megaman games/series played out if they had everything you had originally intended for them? Like the different things you had still wanted to add to Megaman 3 before it was released. 7: Should later Irregualar Hunter X games be made, could we possibly see an appearance from some of the Manga characters such as Return X? 8: If you never do get the chane to continue the Legends series, would you be able to release what you had planned for the later instalments to the public? 9: Have you ever had any regrets about any decision you have made for a Rockman game? 10: I remember seeing concept art for Rockman and Cutman in Megaman X Command mission. Was there ever a posibility that the two characters would have appeared in the game, or was it merely a joke/for fun type of thing? 11: I'd like to show you some of my sprite work... Is there anyway that the Rockman comunity would be able to send you some fo their works at either an email address, or a blog site of some sort? 12: How heavily do you belive that the fans still affect some of the decisions made for any of Capcom's games? And I don't just mean as far as sales go. I mean, do they ever effect any of the new features added? |

Let's see... 1) With the release of Megaman Powered Up (Rockman Rockman) on the PSP, several events that happened originally have been changed. For example, the original 6 robot masters are now saved where they were destroyed originally. And in the ending, they have realigned themselves with Dr. Light. Is this game now canon to the series or just a what it? 2) Will we ever see Tango in a main series game? 3) Will we be able to play with multiple characters again in a newer Megaman/Rockman game? 4) Will there ever be any more contests for robot master designs? 5) Have we seen the last of Dr. Cossack and his daughter Kalinka? 6) Who is your favorite robot master? 7) Will it ever be possible to play the version of Megaman/Rockman 8 that was released on the Sega Saturn (I want the bonus fights with Cutman and Woodman)? |

How do you plan on ripping some sales numbers from the house that Mario built; Nintendo, on any Nintendo System; using all possibilities (Balance board, Wii motion plus), stick with the retro gimmick (I hated to say that. I love MM9's style), or something only you devolopers can think of? |

Im a huge fan of Megaman Legends and was happy to find out that MMT will appear in capcom vs tatsunoko, will we see a new Megaman Legends on the Wii/360/PS3/Handhelds? 2.What was the challenge of making Megaman and Famicom games? 3.If fans get tired of the blue bomber, would you make a new Capcom mascot? 4.How is Monster Hunter 3 progressing? Will it use Motion+? is capcom vs tatsunoko really coming to the Wii? |

Just a few quick q's for Inafune-san:
1) Have you relished the notion of making a Smash Bros. like game, starring all (or as many as possible) of the Robot Masters from the Rockman series? Something like that, using the Power Battle/Fighters engine as a basis, would be fun to see, in my eyes. 2) Any hints on what's next for Rockman's future? 8-bit Rockman returning through RM9 will be a nice throw-back, and I certainly welcome seeing any more in this trend. But what about DASH, ZX and/or maybe a possible new side-scrolling Rockman hero? 3) Has the surging popularity of Aile (Rockman ZX) drawn you to consider the notion of making a female protagonist being the main/sole hero of a Rockman series, for once?
