this is going really well!  I love hearing people's backgrounds.  it's not really typical of internet message boards.

I am Dan, I just recently turned 20 the week MM9 was released (Talk about best brithday ever!), and I am employed at Wal-Mart while also attending college in Maryland. I plan on majoring in Game Design, but am just dealing with my General Education courses before I transfer to a more expensive college to major in it, since my current college does not offer it.

I first started playing video games at the age of 4 or 5, can't quite remember. I do know that my first game was Super Mario Bros. for the NES, and the rest is history. I was always into MegaMan, but never actually bought any of the games until, I think early 8th Grade. I rented MegaMan X3 a million times, as well as MegaMan X and MegaMan 7 while growing up. Who knew MMX3 would eventually become so expensive. If I knew that was the case, I would have kept it and paid the late fees lol. My first purchased MegaMan game was MegaMan Legends, then MegaMan X4. I then started buying every MegaMan game that came out until present day.

Game Design seems to be a pretty popular choice among Mega Man fans

Yeah, I have the MegaMan 2 Title music on my cell. It plays every time I get a text message.

Seriously though, I'm William. I live in Sunny Southern California, where all we get is sun [to the point that there's constant fires] and earthquakes.

I'm 24. I'm a Technical Support Engineer at a ticketing company that everyone in the US knows and graduated with a degree with computer science. I'm a gamer, otaku, computer geek, and comic geek.

In terms of games, I love pretty much everything [from JRPGs, to casual Wii Games, to almost anything Capcom]...except FPS. In middle school I had an overload of FPS games [with too much Doom, Hexen, and Duke Nukem].

As for my otaku habits, I love mecha [especially Gundams], and I collect gashapons. My other geeky habits is I'm a film buff, and I love Star Wars. I'm also a huge avid comic book collector, and have close to 2000 comics now. I'm also an artist, and I have a minor in digital arts. I'm also politically active, and I try to be socially aware of all the problems in the world.

Let's see what else...right now I'm trying to learn magic, because it's a nice ice-breaker...and a good way to meet ladies...
