Mega Man Legends made me happy. That's all there is to it. 3D action adventure, a genre thats in itself dying out, combined with the Mega Man universe. MAKE MORE CAPCOM. FEED ME. |

I finally played through Legends earlier this year and loved every minute of it so for that reason alone I'd love to see another Legends game, that and the story needs closure.
My Megaman/Rockman collection so far: http://www.capcom-unity.com/shadowman16 *updated 10/06/2009*

With todays video game technology and various techniques able to create another Legends title, I am dumbfounded as to why it has not been done yet. There are a vast amount of Legends fans, true and faithful. Lets not forget MegaMan fans in general. I would see no loss in any sort of ratings or profit in producing it. The reason maybe why it halted is the question of how many Legends fans still exist? The reason some might have left is because they gave up on the harsh wait. I mean, the end of MML2 screams SOS in MANY ways (if you know what the ending is) heck, could be "START OR SOON". Capcom wouldnt be disappointed in the result of a 3, I know I wouldnt, and I know you all wouldnt either. : ) |

I'm not sure how the next one could begin. Would they just retcon the whole ending and have you play as Mega Man right away, or have you play as Roll for the first few missions?
In any case I would like a new Mega Man Legends soon. Both games were fun as heck.
RIP King of the Hill ;_;

Which one's better: Mega Man Legends on the Playstation, or the port (Mega Man 64) to the Nintendo 64? I tend to fondly associate Nintendo's much-maligned console with 3d action-adventure type games of that generation, so I'm wondering if there's some glaring reason I should try and pick up the PS version over the N64. I remember being a wee lad at the time the game first came out and eagerly reading about it in my gaming magazines; at that time free-roaming 3d games had a certain magical quality about them that made me dizzy with the possibilities--"Wow, you could go ANYWHERE!" Or so I thought. But my financial state at the time kept me from owning anything more advanced than a Super NES, so now that I've got steady employment I occasionally run across the name of a game and think, "Oh yeah, I really wanted that when I was younger!" and have the means to check it out. |

The PS1 version had way better audio quality, which is definitely notable because of how much spoken dialog there is in the game. The N64 version looks a bit better though, in the sense that there's way less poly-tearing, which was always noticable in the PS1 version. I can't say I have a favorite amongst the two. I wont mention the PC version due to it's terrible cutscene execution. |

I thought it was generally disregarded as the bastard child of the Mega Man franchise, kind of like a lot of the 3D Castlevanias. Still I did play through it, just didn't do it for me as much as Command Mission. That's what I thought. I guess i was wrong though. It seems that there's quite a few fans that want to see a MML3. Maybe I need to go bust out my MML2 and play that. I can't remember if I even finished it now. What about Misadventures of Tron Bonne? Is that any good? Never played that one either. |
