1. Is it true that the Wii mote can F*ck up your arm?

2. Is it possible to find a NES control in a store?

1. No, not always. It may for some, but for otehrs it doesn't bother them.

2. No. There is an adapter that can allo wyou to plug the NES controller to the GameCube port. Except Megaman 9 doens't support GameCube controller. The closest you can get is if you buy the SNES Classic Controller. It's basically a classic controller that's shaped exactly as the SNES controller. The problem with that is that controller was given free as a part of Club Nintendo Japan, so you'll have to search on eBay for it.

so should I risk using the Wii Mote?

Also can you use the Wii like a regular controller and it won't hurt your arm in that case?

I haven't had any problems with the wiimote hurting me, well maybe after about 4 hours of bowling, but nothing from Mega Man 9.

You can just flip the wiimote on it's side and it closely resembles an NES controller.

I only hope they end up releasing a limited edition run of classic controllers of all systems they have on the Virtual console. I would love to play NES games, or Genesis games on the original controller because it feels so natural But, I suppose I could get the adapters too.

It's using the Wii remote, especially for a long period of time (and perhaps without stretching and such), in really grand, sweeping, forceful motions that causes pain, not by simply touching it.  Using it as an NES controller is fine.

If you have a problem with performing physical activity, it might be a good idea to ask a doctor or someone knowledgable if using it is right for you.

Even then, a lot of Wii games don't require you to get extremely physical; you can play Wii Tennis as easily on your sofa by moving your wrist as you can by getting up and pretending to play tennis (you just don't get the same feeling of immersion).  Some games like Wii Sports Boxing and Bowling might require a little more of you, though.

Super Mario Galaxy and Zelda: Twilight Princess require very little Wii remote motion, just a quick shake usually.

If you want to hurt your hand with a Wiimote - play Pirates of the Carribean - other than that, you will be fine!

I have no probs playing MM9 w/ the Wiimote side ways. I do get annoyed of the curve where the B button is. It feels similar to the NES controller, but nothing close in weight. The buttons also aren't as easy to tap. I want a NES to Wiimote adaptor!

This won't work because it plugs into the Gamecube controller port, correct?
