Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I didn't buy one because it was rare/limited/a collecter's item.  I bought it because it was awesome. XD  If more people want one and can get one, all the better for them.

and then just take away the limited factor by deciding to produce more to satisfy all the orders placed.

You're absolutely right, they should have stopped making more after the initial ones. Chances are, then, you wouldn't even have gotten one at all.

Seriously, we already had long ugly threads about all those complaints. It got all talked out, and it was messing up the board. Just be grateful you're getting one, be patient, and drop it, please.

That's very possible as it stands today but debateable if orders were processed as received since so many people have posted later order times then mine and have had their kits shipped already.  That said if I miss out on an item due to my not placing an order in time then I have no complaints.  I knew ahead of time it was limited and what my chances were.  I don't feel Capcom (or any company for that matter) owes me anything but should treat me with respect & fairness as a consumer and that includes open and honest communication especially when they've been hanging onto my money for over a month.

Also as I stated earlier, I personally don't care how limited it is.  I purchased this for the nostalgia factor as playing Mega Man on my NES is one of the fond memories from my childhood, but the fact of the matter is that we have people paying hundreds of dollars for this thing online with the understanding that this item is limited to roughly 200 units based on Capcom (& e-bay seller) statements.  If Capcom came out and made the anouncement that they are producing X number of additional units and word got out, it might save those Capcom fans and collectors money as they could be more patient with their spending due to more units being in circulation.  Again, this is just a respect thing to me.

I also want to note that I don't want Capcom to look at the few of us that have stated our issues with the handling of this as a reason to never offer something like this in the future.  I just want them to take the criticism constructively and improve their operation to avoid this kind of situation in the future.  Most companies welcome feedback of any kind and should look at it as a way to improve business.

I do apologize for bringing the boards down with what is seen as old news/complaints.  My intention is not to annoy people but have open discussion (good or bad).  Please try to remember though that for a few of us this is still ongoing.

keep it up, rdm.

if people stop complaining, capcom will assume everything is okay.

and for those of us waiting still, watching dozens of orders that were placed after ours ship out, things are most certainly not okay.

I'll stop complaining and voicing my extremely negative opinion of this whole situation only when everything is resolved for every last megaman who is kept waiting.

if we don't speak up, they won't hear us, and they'll never learn.

Still nothing yet on my end, here's hoping before Christmas, or... new years.

I just sent another e-mail yesterday trying to figure out when I'd get mine, considering I had one of the earliest order times I saw posted on here and the ~$58 was taken out of my account immediately, thinking I deserve a little clarity and all they can tell me is it's still back-ordered. Glad (but not really) to see I'm not the only one still hanging on for this. It would make a nice Christmas surprise I guess.
