people say it's hard as H3ll and stuff but it isnt' that hard. The only levels honestly still give me trouble are Hornetman's level and Jewelman's level the latter not being that hard just annoying. Once you play a level a few times it's really easy to beat. |

Exactly, it really isn't that hard. A few playthroughs and you're proggressing smoothly.

Yeah, when you get used to it, it's simple, almost mindless. Of course, that's the case with many games. Once you learn what to expect, it's not hard. I do think the game had some pretty tricky parts, but not enough to slip you up every time. One thing I liked though was how the extra difficulty levels didn't just like...give enemies more health or just scatter them in random spots. The enemies don't have extra health, but they're placed pretty strategically (as well as some other obstacles being moved around, added, or taken away) so no matter how well you know the game on normal mode, you have to relearn a lot of things in Hero and Super Hero mode.

Heh.. well, in my opinion, any game is easy "after a few playthroughs" (how many does "a few" even mean anyway? 7? 15?). With few exceptions, any person can eventually beat any game, with enough retries. The real answer to whether it's easy or not, comes if you manage to beat ConcreteMan or Hornet Man's stage/boss on the first try, for example. Stuff like that. |

The more I play it, the more I think it may be my favorite "classic" Mega Man. And of course, I say "classic", due to the old-school style. Regardless, its just like all other Mega Man's, ie. hard at first, then its just all meditation afterwards.
Oh, and I think Galaxy Man's music is AMAZING! |

It can't always be like Megamab 8, I'm glad they returned back to 8-bit!

I think the people that are saying it's too hard are mainly the ones that, after dying enough, decided that the punishment of dying and the task of memorizing and replaying many times is too massochistic an effort and/or don't expect a challenge this hard from a modern day game. I might be stereotyping a bit, but there's other factors like the amount of time needed to put into it for casual players that probably isn't worth it to them, or the level of frustration that turns people off, which is why they point out that it's too "hard". |

It's because they weren't use to the original 8-bit playthorugh and the game is amazing. It's definitely wrth the play for those who loved the series!
