Nevermind,it is just Shademan's remade introduction theme that I didn't really like...

will look up to the sky,
And I know they will grow strong..."

Well, I know there's also Megaman 8 in 8-bit format being made right now.

Here's an example of Megaman 8's opening in 8-bit:

Here's an example of Frost Man's stage:

i both love and hate that mm8 8-bit intro.  it's an amazing video and i've watched it probably 20 times in the past month or so, but it's very much not 8-bit.  they can't have full screen animation in an 8-bit game.  it's too out of place.  could you imagine your NES trying to play a video like that?

in any case, i'm super excited for mm8 8-bit.

It's true, it'll be out of place, but if you have to have an animated opening video, there's no way it can every fit on an NES. I think this is as close as you can get with 8-bit.

Yeah, I was thinking it would be more NES-style to have a slideshow of similar images with the same music.

But like I said.  I love the video they made.

I know I'm nitpicking (since the game is looking amazing and all), but it would have been nice if they had limited the music to use an emulation of the NES's distinct sound hardware (the pulse waves, triangle waves, white noise and delta PWMs) instead of MIDI. It just feels less authentic somehow.

Still, MM7 8-bit was awesome and I think MM8 will be just as fun.

A Megaman 8 8-bit would seriously be cool and an opening stage would be nice to play!
