Return of the 16-Bit Mega Man X style of gameplay, most notably Mega Man X3. X3 has to be my favoite for the inclusion of Zero for the first time playable. Also, retro is in right now- I think a new 16-Bit Mega Man X would be perfect for this retro revival that's going on. 


Just like Mega Man 9 being in 8-Bit.

What if X9 was an RPG???


Not any certain RPG in particular,jus throwin it out there!


I like command mision rpg but I personally favor normal megaman gameplay with equipable items and weapons and gaining exp and stuff like dat!

I don't like that direction. It is as drastic as what they did with X7. It would detrack from the actual series in favor of another approach which would ultimately derail interest within teh Classic veriety... If we get another RPG, it needs to be CM prior/post such...




If you think about it, Capcom tried to put RPG elements in the last MMX game (X8), the R&D Lab have that function. You get metals (money) to buy upgrades and weapons. For me this was a good addition, making even harder to get life up and other upgrades, because you might get the Rare Metal that unlock them but you need also the precise amount of metals.

Another RPG element that they can add without "killing" the classic gameplay is, maybe, a sucessful Hunter Ranking, in other words: a level-up system....but I dont think so, I still think is an interesting idea thou....

Anyway I really think that if X9 is meant to be a next-gen game, Capcom can do wonders with an improved R&D Lab system =)

I'd like to see a 2d/3d mashup similar to maverick hunters on psp, just as a downloadable game on psn/xbox marketplace/wiiware.

Im not going to talk about story and gameplay but I would like in X9 for it to be on the Wii,XBox360,and PS3 like MegaMan 9 and have 3D graphics but 2D gameplay screen like X8 and it should be rated E+10.It should have better graphics than before infact it should have better graphics than the last MegaMan games but not too good of a graphic more like in between Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm and X8 graphics for the XBox 360 and Wii,exact graphics like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm for the PS3 especially during cutscenes and story events.


Multiple endings for each character and more special endings.It should be the same as X8 and have MegaMan 9 special features in it.
