Of course HD Remix was definitely worth it! However, as amazing as this game really is, I don't think Capcom's goal with this installment of the franchise was to make any significant difference in video game history by any means. I believe that there will always be die-hard Street Fighter fans, such as myself, who are always willing to shell out the cash for anything with the label on it and the hype. Capcom's extremely good at marketing their games, in my opinions, and Street Fighter games always seem to innovate people in some way or another. As much as I loved this installment, I don't honestly think it was anything ridiculously "major" as all the hype suggested. Considering all the changes and upgrades made, I honestly feel that this latest installment is strictly for the hardcore to notice. Yet at the same time, this version makes the game much more approachable to newcomers as well. My friends, who never play video games in their spare time, were able to pick it up after making a few adjustments in the options and eventually got into it enough to use less handicaps. Overall, I dig it.
