    About Me:

I like to get down with my corporeal self, even if it's an ephemeral contract with a fleeting dream in the clouds of blah blahdy blah. =p

Love film enough to study it for my major at the university, and two years after I've graduated all I do is read scripts and give feedback (useful or not, it's feedback, ha ha. Sincere and thoughtful feedback, though! That counts, right? >_<) Lover of people, lover of games, lover of stories, lover of the things that cause your heart to go "boom," like music and good memories.

This is so wordy, just chat with me! That's the best way, mm!

I ACCEPT MOST ANYBODY! DON'T BE SHY! PLEASE ALSO DON'T BE A JERK! Ha haa...
Favorite Genres: Action-Adventure, Action, Visual Novel, Fighting, Shooter
Music: Asian Pop, soundtracks and scores for film and video games, Rap, Rock, Groovy Beats, "Tek-Flo" (I just made that up, ha haa... What I consider Maxi Jazz's rap from Faithless albums "Reverence" and "Sunday 8pm;" it be flowin' techno, yo! =p)
Movies: THE DARK KNIGHT (SHAFTED AT OSCARS!!!! GRRRR!! Upping the Nominee count to 10 is TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE!! >O<), Twilight Samurai, District 9 (it's so new I feel icky about having it on the list, but it really IS a very good movie despite its minor script issues here and there), Collateral, Seven Samurai, Destiny (the old Fritz Lang one), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (have seen it only twice, but it's always going to be there for the emotional impact and high concept storytelling, SO GOOD!), Ringu (UGH!! ruined my LIFE!! I love it, though), Dark Water (Japanese version), and many many many others.
TV: I need to watch more television, actually. One day, when I have more shows under mah belt, I'll add them here, ha ha...

Though currently, I'm a big fan of "Mythbusters," can't get enough of it!
Books: Cloud of Sparrows, Autumn Bridge, Einstein's Dreams, The Human Chair (and other stories), I'm Going to be Famous, Bruce Coville books, and sci-fi short stories such as those by Ray Bradbury. Trying to get more into sci-fi actually. Any good suggestions??
Likes: Respectful people. Nostalgia. Inspiring thoughts, quotes, music, essays, articles, people, films, ANYthing in the "Humanities" and "Arts" categories that can inspire (not inspire into action, but inspire a purely emotional response). And again, I cannot stress enough that RESPECTFUL PEOPLE are a PLUS!
Dislikes: Arrogance. Condescending attitudes. Submission to John Gabriel's Greater Internet Effwad Theory via full participation. Bananas. Deception. An overwhelmingly anti-personal sense of self-importance.
Hobbies: SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME ON THE INTERNET!!! Ha haaa.... =p Playing games, reading comics, watching movies, daydreaming, playing with the kitties, collecting pictures, giving feedback on scripts and discussing films, mmm... Oh, and more recently wanting to invest in a wide assortment of different coffees to have at home - aiming to create a SUPER cafe-type experience in my bedroom, hee hee! Any suggestions on coffees, espressos, cappuccinos and the like, PLEASE SHARE!! Thank you! =D

"Resident Evil 2" Tribute in Simon Pegg's "Spaced"

    Monday, November 2, 2009, 10:03 AM [General]

Hi everyone! I started re-watching one of my favorite comedy series, "SPACED," which star Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and is directed by Edgar Wright, the great minds behind "Shaun of the Dead." ANYWAY! I JUST remembered that the third episode of series one is just a giant "Resident Evil 2" tribute. Considering how "Resident Evil 2" is still my favorite of the series (even though Imight have more fun with "R.E. 5," just can't beat that co-op play!) it's just great to hear that piano music throughout the episode.

WATCH IT!! LOVE IT!! ---> www.veoh.com/search/videos/q/Spaced#watc...

Hope everyone had a good weekend and a Happy Halloween!! =D

Does anyone know what song this is??? PLEASE!!

    Thursday, October 29, 2009, 08:30 PM [General]

Okay, so I really only heard this small sampling of this song here - www.youtube.com/watch?v=wY6D6abZTLw&feat... - and ever since have joined the list of people who don't know what it is, but would really love to find out, because it sounds good!!

Also, somewhat related... GRRRR!! I'm a sometimes-guest on a friend's profile on the RoosterTeeth site, and just recently used his profile to ask this same question in one of the forum threads dedicated to song/artist questions/identification.

MAN!! Are people just like, stupid sometimes, or what?? I mean, I follow the rules, I ask the question, and suddenly I get "negged" and am met with STUPID responses like "O.o." Thanks a LOT. VERY helpful. You can see what I mean here (posting as "niveK37," starting at #1815): redvsblue.com/forum/viewTopic.php?id=219... .

Man, some people just make me wanna punch them out sometimes, bah...

    "SF IV!!" It's THROW-DOWN TIME!!! >=O

Thanks for the comment on my blog post. I'm a big Ace Attorney dork too, so I'm planning on making an Edgeworth costume now.

    Hey Michiko
No I haven't seen anything from those movies until i watched those links you sent. Thx by the way. And uh, I have to say I'm not really into that gore type. I guess I was thinking cool guns and weapons. which I'm sure are in the film. I mean look at "Machine Girl" shes got a crazy gun for an arm! But "Pistol Opera" looks good and so does Blood. Even though I am getting a little tired of hearing about vampires recently;) Maybe I'll check them out later.

Thanks. And yeah, the skulls are big. But then again, they are supposed to be the skulls of dead children so, I had to find some near that size. Lol.
