most of the ads were at least humorous, and gave just the enough amount of tease to make you interested. Tasteful, i suppose would be the best way to describe them

i got interested in the game when i found out it supported Wii speak and reportedly had fantastic online play

Have you heard of  or seen Ironbeard McCullough?

Saw ironbeard on the official site and the youtube videos, but that's it.

What is your opinion of Monster Hunter?

my opinion is that monster hunter is the best thing ever to come to the Wii. its about time we got a difficult multiplayer action RPG.

it was good, I have alot of friends who got interested more in the game from the commercials and adds then they ever did from me telling them to play the game. so I think they were a good thing.

the simple answer would be from the previous titles, but my love of those games comes from the fact I grew up playing MMOs, the fact that the game never has to end untill you decide its beat is somthing I really enjoy, the farming items, the crafting, and the online when you want to deal with it is great too.

I first heard about Monster Hunter Tri when i finally got to HR 9 in MHFU

Monster hunter PS2, Monster Hunter 2 PS2, Monster Hunter G PS2, monster huinter freedom PSP, Monster hunter Freedom2 PSP, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite PSP, Monster Hunter Tri Wii, Monster Hunter Frointer PC, Monster Hunter 3 PSP.

I saw like 3 of the comercials and this game seemd very good

Well to be seriou it was pretty lame i mean the commericals were boring and made barely any sence, then i saw ads on game stop and stuff it looked a lot cooler

My intrest in Monster hunter tri is when i played the series i saw these new monsters and i was so excited.

If Ironbeard McCullough is from the commercials then yes i have.

I think monster hunter isnt that popular becaus eit came from japan but if we thought of a new monster hunter klike on Ps3 and/or Wii then we it would be more popular here and we wouldnt have to wait half the year waiting for it to be translated over.

Anyone play Black Ops or MW: Reflex? Just PM me and we can play together.

When did you first hear about Monster Hunter Tri?

Saw it somewhere on Youtube a few times in the Monster Channel's set of videos. After I asked if the blood could be toggled off, and receiving a reply, I pledged to buy the game. And so I did so. (Never did find an off switch, but the mild setting works well enough.)

Are you aware of other titles in the franchise? If so which title and Format?

I think there's a few for the PSP and PS2 or something. But I don't own a PSP, don't intend to ever get one unless someone hands it to me for free for getting Mega Man Powered Up. I do have a PS2, but the lens is dead. So getting the older games right now wouldn't do me much good.

Have you seen any promotional material for the game Monster Hunter Tri? I.E. Television / Cinema Adverts, internet banners, Transport posters (Bus & Trains) or In Store Promo.

TONS. On TV. On Youtube. On Nintendo.com. In my Email. But it's really the Youtube videos and something about a context that landed me with a Capcom Unity account.

What was your opinion of the advertising that you saw?

I liked it. It was exciting, it looked great, it made me laugh. It was well made and effective.

Where did your interest in Monster Hunter Tri come from?

It involves drawing a certain kind of fanart. I figured the best way to get more info and reference images on the monsters would be to get the game.

Have you heard of  or seen Ironbeard McCullough?

If he's that guy I'm thinking of from the commercials, then yes. But I've never been too good with names. Isn't there a fangame RPG someone made with RPGMaker that stars him?

What is your opinion of Monster Hunter?

It's a great, detailed, immersive, enthralling experience of a game. It requires high amounts of time investment to play to any skillful degree, though. There's some level of trail-and-error gameplay in it like a Mega Man game, but to say it's "like Mega Man" would be very misleading. My impression is that in comparison to other Wii and PC titles available now, it's quite a unique experience.
