FH Posts: 2,397	WIKI EDITING TUTORIAL/GUIDE The other thread did its job pretty darn well but it was getting messy so we are gonna clean it up a bit. This will be acting as our update thread, something new happens and it will show up here. As for contributing to the wiki we have set-up some threads in the FAQ boards (the name will be changed at a later date). As well as changing the thread we are going to chage the format a bit. I personally liked the whole unlock thing but its not going to work. Now, all the pages are open to you technically =/ Write a guide/FAQ/whatever then submit it in the Guide submission thread (link below). This will serve to keep order and act as a final proofreading/quality control. -- Submission critique by peers -- Guide submission -- Wiki suggestions In case you hunters missed it. We now have out very own Wiki. Official Monster Hunter Wiki The work that has been done so far has been done by Moises, Yuffie, and Myself over the past few weeks. We are not done by any means and there are some more graphics to add. Now to the reason for this post. We need you! Yes, you. to help us with this Wiki. This is the community's Wiki, I hope each of us to have a hand in it. Currently all the pages should be locked down so nobody can edit. FH Posts: 2,397	July 9th, 2009 Changes - Game pages have been depreceated. They only feature basic game information now (release day, blurp, etc.) - Main page now features all the buttons. (playing with format) They still link to the same pages. Looking for: - Content and User contributions... * All pages have been unlocked and are editable by members of the Monster Hunter group. FH Posts: 2,397	August 3rd, 2009 Changes - Mainpage recieved a reformatting. - Namespaces added. - All buttons functional, except for lists. - MH:Tri buttons, and links added to main page. Searching - MHFU Contributions - MH:Tri info I have noticed, and spoken to, a few users who are greatly contributing to the wiki. One user has setup item and armour templates to be used. So please, if you have the time, help with the wiki. Regarding info for MH:Tri We have opened up pages for MH:Tri. FH Posts: 2,397	August 16th, 2009 Changes - New Ecology pictures for the monsters - Monster pages now consolidated ( Monster X shares one page for MH, MHF, MHF2, and MHFU ) Searching - User involvement. Some of you have slowly been adding to the wiki with what you can and it is much appreciated but we nee you all in there. - Monster info. Morgoth has put together a few templates for everyone to use. I reccomend using them to help fill out our wiki. FH Posts: 2,397	Changes - Monster Icons added to the MH:Tri Monster page. These Monsters will have pages seperate from the rest of the series as this game is a "reboot" for the series. Creatures with Red names do not have English names and will not have pages set up for them until they have an English name. FH Posts: 2,397	This is a rather sad post =( =( =( =( For the moment, the Wiki is broken, Onesite has decided to disable tables...so most alignments and work arounds that we have done are useless. until it is fixed anything in the wiki that uses tables is not working. - no white backgrounds via tables, no alignments.
