This video makes me both happy and sad, it would be a blast be able to get a group together like that, sadly though noone that I know has any care for monster hunter on PSP, been trying for months to get them into it with no luck. been trying to find more people since Iv been reading about people putting up flyers and stuff to find new people, really hope it works out.

Dam, the reason i came to this forum not long ago was because i sorta gave up finding people in real life..which is to say so much better really to get together and play. so i decided to come here. well it has been great so far. i got online on adhoc and played with some people here (not lately but prob gonna be on alot more when unite drops!) and alot of people are very nice and helpful from the forums.

but yeah id love to get to know and meet people to play MH freedom games together.

i posted several posts on various forums about meeting if they lived near Florida.

i MAY be living in Virginia if i don't get accepted for grad school locally so...if u guys are near lol i'll bring teh beers.

lol I could see myself being that geeky if I had a crew to play with often enough, my cell ring is the cooking meat tune, and every time it goes off I look around to see if anyone recognizes it. I have my psp charger hooked up in my office so I can leave my psp on all day and get a couple hunts in here and there between plans being dropped on my desk.

I was the same, the first MH on ps2 had seriously THE best community there was, no matter how high somones rank was, they were always willing to help us lower guys, I cant even remember how many epic players helped me farm my gravious armor, that game had some real love in it. I havent played on the adhoc yet, though I do have a ps3, but Im really looking forward to it.

maybe capcom feels it has a better chance of MHFU selling more in EU or maybe sony of america aren't going to support it as much but SCEE said they'll be pushing this game pretty hard over here in the UK and other EU countries

adverts like this that show what the MH experience is, should really improve sales world wide

i also read that there is sort of a MH cafe in EU as of late too. seems like they are trying to push it there alot more. i think it also has to do with the accessibility between people also vs. the states. here isn't really known people people gathering simply due the massive continent size. I was born and raised in south Korea. i went there 2 summers ago they had a cafe dedicated for wireless lan gaming and i saw ton of MH players (at least 20) playing. the place reminded me sort of like the pokemon store in New York, clear glass, sofas and etc. but the contient itself is very small so people, if they wanted to can take a train if worse come worse to reach the place.

not so much here.

i hope they at least get the adhoc thingy in america and push the game and im sure much more people will be happy when TRI comes out.

That guy that kept dying is funny.

Me and that guy would get along peachy.  We could spend all of our time doing easy quests, and then dying all the time on hard quests :-p

My PSP is always with me at my job, but I generally never have time to play it while working (I answer phones at a pizza place and do other things).  I think once it was really slow and I have my PSP on standby with MH, so I turned it on and played with it a little, but then we got a little business, so I put it back on standby.  No cellphone for a cool ringtone, but I do have a really cool MH PSP theme :)  Thanks to the person who sent me it.  You know who you are ;-)

And yeah I got a lot of help too (that's how I got Diablos armor, when I still have trouble beating YKK, but I don't play so much, so it's easy to get rusy).  And Ad-hoc is pretty fun.  Makes me glad yet again that I have a PS3, as I have no one local to play with.  :)

I especially liked the shoulders (not sure if they were the same on the guy as they were on the girl...the spikes on the girl were really cool).  I really should see if my friend would help me get that on Unite ;-)

!!! :O

you are like the only person i know who digs the diablos armor set wow! the diablos U i believe or S where the shoulders are not point but pointed to the front, i liked it but the white color was kind of bleh from freedom 2. UNITE has the black version of this im so excited to get it! (i believe its called diablos Z)

diablos was def one of my fav sets that got me pretty far in the game. wind press is def a plus against alot of bosses in freedom 2.

megumi check out my thread (and anyone reading this) about unite release meeting. i am trying to get people who are going to play day 1 to join and play together on adhoc party (if u have it)

im really debating on getting xlink kai also only because i noticed alot fo great people on the threads don't have ps3 and would love to play with them.

p.s.- armor on girl characters are almost always cooler than male :(
