I've been surfing the forums here for awhile looking at info for the new monster hunter games. I finally decided to pre-order Unite over at Gamestop. The guy at the desk told me he had already gotten over thirty pre-orders in the last week so I decided to register here and see if anyone who frequents the forum lives in my area. I don't have a PS3 and haven't ordered a Planex yet so I'm mostly restricted to local Ad-hoc. I figured that since I live on campus at a university, Florida Institute of Technology, it might be nice to get a group together that can meet at the college and play together every once in a while. If you're interested you can post here, send me a forum pm, or email me at rinexx@hotmail.com. I've also got Monster Hunter Freedom 1 and 2 so we could get together to play those too if you want. I might also post something on Craig's list also. Happy Hunting! ^^

Reminder: The area I live in is Melbourne, Florida, over at the Florida Institute of Technology

I'll be sure to let you know. I was hoping that I could get a few people who weren't registered to register or contact me, but no luck. I've posted up things all over the net on facebook, craigslist, and my college's mailing list, but all I've gotten back was one spam mail and a old friend telling me to contact him whenever I wanted to get together to play. I'm thinking about leaving a note with the local Gamestop when I pick up my pre-order for the game. Hopefully that will generate a few results. Sorry to hear what happened in your last post. Since I'm in a mostly engineering school, I see a lot of that happen. Several of my best friends had to drop out because they spent more time on games than school. I think what you're doing is a good idea and if you can stay the course things will really improve for you. Just remember that anything in extremes can hurt you, whether that's games or work or anything else. Moderation is the key to happiness.
