Now , I don't understand WHY the last thread was locked as it is a valid complaint.

Bastion;

"On some occasions, scan lines may appear on scenes where brightness changes drastically, due to the hardware features of the new LCD device on PSP 3000. Installed with this new LCD device, PSP 3000 offers more natural and vibrant colors on its screen, but the scan lines have come out to be more visible as a result of improving response to alleviate the afterimages on PSP 3000. Since this is due to hardware specification, there are no plans for a system software update concerning this issue."

This is a response from Sony, the ISSUE EXISTS ON EVERY PSP 3000, yours is not special, I am sorry.

I want to know what other people think about the scanlines visible in Monster Hunter resulting from bright areas and grey colours BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY VISIBLE.Your Psp is no different than mine, you just don't seem to care about the problem, obviously it doesn't stand out to you as it does to me.

GO to the swamp area in the demo, you will notice scanlines at the top of your screen and bottom. They are very pronounce when you are about to enter a cave as well. They are present in the forest too. The desert is beautiful.

Does anyone else notice these ?

Hmmm...I'm thinking Capcom will lock and/or delete this one too. Maybe it's something they don't care to address? Glad I don't have a PSP3000.

What you're saying it completely true and it's true that it's impossible to fix. One reason not to pick up a 3000.

I honestly only noticed it after you brought it to my attention.

Its not really a huge issue, a quick search of this subject on google will return similar results.

Yea, I can notice it now...if I stop playing and actually *look* for it, but while I'm playing...its nonexistant, let alone reason for me to not get Unite over such a tiny and disputable problem.

Have several friends with a 3000 and the demo, I nonchalantly asked them if there seemed to be any graphical issues with the demo, they said none, it was only until I had to point it out to them that they noticed it, which should tell you how minute of a problem it is.

Does it really bother you that much?
