Not sure if theres already a post about this, but has anyone considered creating a ventrilo channel for monster hunter chat?

Not only could it be used for just general chat, but also for people actually playing the game who need to talk to each other while completing a quest.

For those of you who don't play WoW, Ventrilo is a program that you can download for free that allows you to talk to others via voice chat through the use of a headset or built in microphone.

Would anyone be interested?

I personally would enjoy chatting with other people about MH.

If your willing to use yours then I think it would be a good idea!

Whats the adress/password thing for the server?

is skypie what most people use when playing on kai or adhoc? been wondering for awhile now.

As Riku said, AdHoc Party simply requires a bluetooth headset for communication.

I've used Ventrillo, its very useful, though with AdHoc...I don't really see a reason to use it.

For Kai though, no doubt, Ventrillo would be useful.

Of course, there are the naysayers who complain about not wanting to actually talk, every game has them.

Half time with Snow and Mosies..i dont even hear them right thru Ad hoc Party...and just pretend i hear them right....

Haha the same thing sorta happens to me only I'm the person repeating myself. I have an Irish acent I guess and sometimes it's hard to understand when I talk fast.

I never mind being asked to repeat myself because it's not the persons fault they can't hear/understand you.
