I'm pretty sure he means the giapreys.  I don't think there are any dromes in the one stars are there?  Unless he went into the guild hall, that for sure is a problem.  What you need to do dude is build up on armor and weapons first.  Take it slow, and make sure to use strategy.  Bring extra potions, the supplies the quest give you aren't always so quenching of your needs.

Ah, yeah you're going to want to improve your weapons/armor.

The demo consists of armor and weapons that are stronger than what you start off with.  They are some of the highest level weapons and armors.  I assume you would be using the bone blades from the item box, i assume?  I would try and go for sword and shield right now, if you keep dying.  The shield can block and attack at the same time, which will allow you to take less damage.  You should definitely try to get better armor.  The starting armor isn't exactly what you call "defensive".

It would be cheaper to create armor, but it will require a lot of materials to create some of them.  If you can't make the armor, buy it, but not all armor is always available for purchase.  Only some of the basic ones.

Elder lady quests are much easier.  Go for them first.
