armor recommendations?

Alright so i killed the shen gaoren in the elder quests.

I'm onto the hypnock right now.  Urgent.  But my concern is my armor may not be good enough yet.

For those that have known me for a while now, my main armor set is death stench.  The normal one, not the special versions.  Rarity 5.  Anyways, that and mirage finsword.

My new gunner set is the kirin set.  With many elemental bows, so that isn't a bother.

I know this armor isn't good enough for high ranked quests, so any ideas on what armor to make for now until i can kill a hypnock and make some hypnock armor?  Thanks.

I'm trying to get a hypno bezoar, a rare drop that one is...

Anyways, just killed my 2nd hypno.  Just short on some items, another kill will do for the helmet.  But i also want to make the bow so, i got to do a lot more camping.

Cephalos scale + will be a problem.

Once your into Nekoth's quests, its considered Hard Rank, So + items can be gotten.  And monsters are not as strong as Guild Hall Hard Rank.


The cephodrome quest pay out scales, and he's not that tough.  =3

Anyways. It's odd.  I know it's high ranked quests now, but then I haven't received a single + item yet.

Alright I've gone off and have made the hynock set for gunner.  Not bad, good against any sleep inducing monsters.  Looks a little off though.

Anyways, I've gotten autotracker on it, which helps out a lot actually.

But now I need a new blademaster set.  And absolutely no clue what to do.  Again, elder rank 7, and hr5.  Any ideas?  Up to killing anything at this point.  For good armor.  Keep style in mind too :)  I like cool looking armor.

well what i did was make S armour cause i played in the guild hall with my brother


but you can try making tigrex armour with armour and power charms/talons

Rathalos Soul Armor, from the azure rathalos. It provides earplug (which can be upgraded to high grade) and has attack up. This is a great set. I used it until i got full Silver Sol Armor, and then i got Dark Akantor, and then i got all kinds of armor.  


The Azure rathalos armor is a great starting place, altough its probably on par with Death Stench. If thats the case go for Rathalos S.
