Im hr2 and i think i want to go bow/bowguns. What armors sets should and weapons should i go for? |

quite franky, unless you are playing with friends or you have a good bow/gun. its pretty useless at low HR
I only started using my first bowgun when i got my hands on materials to make Bastionmage, its a good starting bow gun, as for bow, you'll need a very good one b4 you can start solo hunting with it.

Lots of good bows, -nya Not best option to grab one give you and head out..thats just bad idea. Most of simple raws bows, help you murder kut ku, and then fire kut ku bow help you kill khezu. Probaly start saving up bug parts for sonic Bow, (for plesi/monoblos/tiggie) Once you got 2 white horns, you can make good ice bow for diablos. Crab bow (water for grav)
And that really is big issue with Bows, You need differnt one. Unlike bowguns where you can make 1 or 2 and have it last. Just remember range on red/yellow line for top of curve and you'll get best damage. Never spam lv1's charges. only half damage. =/ Get yourself runner and high grade earplug, pretty much invincable if you know monsters moves. =3

I recommend using bows instead of bowguns for it is flexible you can move still pretty fast with it unsheated. And it's triple shot charge is powerful

Whats this about the line turning red/yellow? Ive been useing blango 3 and smashing the crap out of Rath. im a farmer so i dont mind much farming mats for more bows heh. Thanks guys see ya at G rank soon.. i hope.

Yep, heal shot is for buddys and cats.
when bowing you can bring up a arc, at top of arc is hgihest damage. If you shoot to close or to far with bows, you lose damage.

So the red/yellow thing doesn't affect the damage that will be dealt?
