Dont come in 3 sizes, but you can upgrade your weapons and add  more parts to the gun, making more powerfouls shoots or shoot more far, like the crossbow of MHF2, but the change would be more notorious in Tri.

Actually we don't know that yet, a new weapon icon for the Bowgun has been found (which appears to be a Medium Bowgun)

We'll see what happens in MH3.
