Well, it seems the reviewers at Gamespot have long forgotten how to play real games. With a 6.5 score now looming over Unite I have to ask "Why?" more than once. They rated Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen with a 7.5, and I'd have barely given that game a 6.7. Now they give Monster Hunter a 6.5, when I clearly is 9.0 and above material. The downsides they mention, are easily far outweighed by the insane amount of content and life span the game has to offer to the general public. I've never liked Gamespot, and now they fail us once more. No surprise, but it's another huge punch in the gut for Monster Hunter in the US.

this game doesnt get the attention it deserves just merely becasue they say it is to hard to play... well ill admit the can be challenging but thats what makes it fun for me so i geuss you just have to be true monster hunter fan to understand that. |

well i guess it was going to happen, but it probably wont dent MHFU sales as much as a 5.0 would as long as you like the game and you have friends to play with then their should be no problems

The game really deserves a much better rating. They just don't like challenging games and that's what monster hunter is about. Really challenging quests and a whole lot of fun.
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite FTW!

Why are you taking Gamespot so seriously? We already knew they were a joke back when this all started with MHF. |

"Sony hasn't put up LBP on the internet yet, just a demo"
"That's like playing the PS3 version without the downloadable content. It still gets the job done, but come on!" "They hate extra support too!" "Come on!" "I know, right?" ... "What's wrong with them?!" |

I know what you mean, but they are probably constrained for time then again, i would rather have less, quality reviews, than more bad ones hmm
