Next set of armor?

I have the tigrex armor and i am trying to maybe get a better set of armor what should i go for and should i worry about this?

What rank are you?  What are you planning to kill for the next while?  Which kinds of quests are you on?  low ranked?  High ranked?  G ranked?

It really depends on what you are doing and where you currently are in the game.  But the usual answer would be rathalos x I believe.  That silver one.
