I honest to goodness can't even do a scratch to this thing. I am in need of some serious help. Does anyone have any tips or even better would anyone like to help me in Ad Hoc party?


I have full Ian armor on right now. Everything is at Defense: 60 except for two pieces that are at 62. As for the skills I only have Health +50  & Poison Duration Halved. As for weapons I am good with SnS and DS but here is all the equipment I have that might help me out. Upper Battleaxe, Kirin Bolt Indora, Velocidrome Bite+, Princess Rapier, Hurricane, Holy Saber, Snow Venom, Eager Cleaver, Blango Decimator, and Khezu Shock Sword.


Sorry for the extensive list, I'm just trying to give as much help as possible. I'm trying to get the Devil Slicer and those Kirin Tails are all I need. Also I am jumping on Ad Hoc Party now, my PSN is AsburyX.

You can go on youtube and search for a kirin guide and see if that helps and the kirins weaknesses is Dragon attr or u can try ice it has no def. to that

I just use the Blazing Falchion or Corona (both are fire SnS) and beat the tar out of it. Its horn is the weak spot, but it can be hard to reach so I just hit anywhere and only go for the face if the kirin is short enough. Actually, I cannot remember if the kirin's hide is as hard as it used to be. (Back in MH1, only the face was hittable!)
