The biggest weak point on Chemelios is his back right legs. I say back RIGHT but it's both. It's just whenev you knock him down you will need to be on the right side to hit his belly cuz his wings reflect. So remember. BACK RIGHT LEG.

I know the horn can break and tail can be cut off, ONLY if you have DRAGON attribute.

What Nick said probably holds true. I've broken Cham's horn with a Black Bow I (dragon), but never could with my Hi Twin Flames (Fire DS). Managed to chop off tail with BOTH though. The front part of its wings (where the claws are for Rathalos and Kushala, the breakable parts) are breakable as well. Never tried or managed to though. That, and Cham's only weakness point is its head. Its neck takes fairly large damage, and the front legs and on its back. The Hind legs actually take the least amount of damage (along with the big part of the tail, save for the small bit that you can chop off). It's just that the hind legs are the safest place to let loose all the combos in the world that you can think of, and it's the easiest way to get it to fall down. Chameleos falls down really REALLY easily. I used Hi Twin Flames (Fire DS) to pwn Chameleos. Did it twice so far, it was a cakewalk. Bring in Mega Juices, eat one and go on a demonizing spree on its hind legs (safest spot, you'll never get hit by anything here other than its very annoying tail-wind flap thing which just makes you fall down due to the immense wind it makes, AND the annoying 'poison fart' thing it does by flying up, flapping a little and letting loose a cloud of poison gas below). Once it falls down, have fun demonizing its tail or its head or wings, whichever you choose. if you get into a lousy spot (eg. stuck in betwee its wings), just demonize its wings, or roll around to get your position. After a while of demonizing (and loads of sharpening... I personally like the Sharp Sword skill here, reduces sharpness wear by 1/2), you'll find that it dies within 20 minutes. I managed a kill within 18 minutes using my Ceanataur hybrid armor (sharp Sword, Swdshrpnr, Health +20) and Hi Twin Flames. Seriously, too easy >_>

Ive busted his horn and tail off with fire weapons. I almost exclusively use Punishment blades(fire dualies) on him. Ive also busted off Kushala Doaras Horn with a raw hammer with no element. Teostra and Lunastra however I needed to use dragon. |

In freedom 2, you may have been able to do it with any element. In Unite though, you need dragon for chammys horn, kushala can be broken with anything, as he is usually the introductory elder dragon. Tails don't need an element, they are free game. But yea, chammy, teo and luna all need dragon to break their horns. Unless you have a felyne with dragon element, you can't break the horn with fire. Fire just does lots of damage.

Maybe im wrong about this. But i read that dual swords dont need the sharp sword ability because they all have it built in? |
