American 5 Year Anniversary Celebration....

September 21st is less than a month away....
And it was on that faithful day, 5 years ago,
when MONSTER HUNTER was released in
the USA for the PS2.


The big question is...Will we get a big
anniversary celebration just as Japan did?!?



Now that all the gamings sites have covered
the news about MH3(tri~) getting ported out-
side of Japan next year, I think a huge event
or celebration is in order for MONSTER HUNTER
in America.


There are tons of fans of MONSTER HUNTER here,
and everyday more fans are jumping on the MH
bandwagon, due to MHFUnite and the news of
MH3(tri~)'s early 2010 arrival.



This loyal MONSTER HUNTER fan would like to
think, thousands of MH fans would like to have
some kind of event in celebration of 5 years
of MONSTER HUNTER in the USA.  Maybe a full
philharmonic orchestra of MONSTER HUNTER music
is asking too much (although I think it isn't
too much to ask for), but some kind of festival,
perhaps a week long, with fun prizes, and a
chance just to play with and meet other hunters
as well as the awesome folks at Capcom would
be ideal for a 5 Year Anniversary event.


What say you?!?

I would love something like that. But with my luck and capcom being in California, the festival would be in California. I live on the other side of the country, coastal Georgia. Plus cost way too much to fly there. As much as I would love to go if we did have one. Money would be my issue. I think that goes for lots of people. The MH fans in Cali would be able to go though.

I gots the same problem. Only I live in VA. An event like that would be sweet but I wouldn't travel that far for 1

Yes, I too live in California, along with Musoken. However, the chances are pretty slim that we would get the treatment received in Japan.


I am encouraged because it seems that more of the staff at Capcom is discovering Monster Hunter. So, we can hope. or we can plan our own celebration....

If they were holding a celebration up on Mt.Fuji and we could only get there by foot, I would hike there without rest and probably still be the 343rd person to arrive Laughing

YESSSSS!!! That would be like so EPIC!!!! I live in LA so i might be able to go if its in CA! I think that us the fans can make some thing like that,If we all putt in 50 bucks or so we can have some thing nice.
