will this be multiplatform or just wii? i'd hope it would come to the ps3. or, even though i dont play the 3 we have, XB360

i think the wii is a good system and all dont get me wrong. but i think they are making a gamble on it if it is just the wii. in us it has fair-but-not-great sales on any system its been on befor. its a great game/series but people give it bad reviews. and to top that off, im sure us in the community would support any version of the game, but the people whove never played a game befor, after reading the history of the series, would shell out the money for a game they will get owned by a kelbi in because, well, lets face it: in any wii game we all try making a swing and it just wont go the way its planned every time. think itll do well just on the wii?

The title will not be multi platform. It will be Wii only and I actually feel that this was a good move, it would be easier to convice someone to spend 200 on a wii then 300 on a PS3, in my opinion anyways. The controls aren't that big of an issue I have made it all the way to village 5* with a wii mote alone, if it is an issue for the person they could always use a Classic controller and you have your good old PS2 control scheme.

Why does everyone think "Fats kids are not gonna play Wii".  The motion stuff isn't hard and MOST (Or a good many) games have a classic controler option.

I'm glad it's being released on the Wii (I don't have a 360 or PS3, just lower forms xbox, and PS2). I like the idea, cuz the Wii is cheaper, it some (depends on the game) good graphics.

You don't HAVE to play with the wii mote. You can use the classic controller. So the "fat" kids can play it with ease. You know most of those people can't that their "overweight".

I guessing overweight, Obese, and Till the earth with lard are out so I'm guessing pleasingly plump is the new thing?

The wii-mote controls are easy to use....unless your playing sonic unleashed then all hell be damned.

It gets easier over time and its....I wouldnt say fun, but its different and look at it like this, your working your wrist so it gives you some men extra "practice" Yell If you know what I mean

Wow nix wow lol. Not all of us do that lol. Girls might need "practice" to if ya know what I mean lmao.

But yea the controls on the wii mote just look like a pain. Having to turn the wii mote to the side to do a GS upward swing. Turn it to the opposite side to do a side swipe etc, etc

The reason it was changed to the Wii is because people a year back had more Wiis than PS3s and 360s together, which I believe is still accurate, so Capcom was smart enough to realize that and sell it on the Wii to get a bigger MH crowd, the Overall production and design costs were also half as much as they would have been for the 360 and PS3.

I believe they made a very obvious play, and a good one since all signs pointed to the Wii. There would be only so many of us outside of Japan that would buy a system for MH, but not many. Now that the Wii is 200 bucks I can't wait for MH to hit the states.
