Fire Dragonsword: good, get this.

Black scythe: good, but it needs fatalis materials.

Black Blade: Get Brunhild, or something like that. It upgrades from the pink rathian GS.

Thunder: True Devil Slicer. Pretty good. It becomes the strongest thunder LS in the game.

Element isn't really good for GS, and akantor weapons may need ESP for some enemies. Really good raw tho'.

Are asking if you should get the akantor weapons, or asking what weapon to use on akantor?

GS: the one with the highest raw. 

LS: Smolder Dragon Sword. You may need to kill some teos and Laos...

Depends on GS..  gs with 100-300 element are ...iffy.  Most make up for it in raw.

Something like Eternal Destoryer 1008, 860 drag well mence meat stuff. (inless ur useing ada+2 and such)

Most of Aka weapons..even with sharpness don't ..stand out. The Aka Ls get smedge of blue, throw in Reckless+3  it can do some nice damage.  Several weapon will over shadow them thou.

Aka GS is a slightly must own if your into weapons that do stuff.  It lights up and opens up during Lv3 charge. =3

any armor thats been upgraded to give a minimum of about 70 defence per piece.

any armor is good but dont bother goin in with evade +1-2 or evade dist up since he's masive and will hit you anyway :P
