well rathalos has a naturally high resistance to fire not to say that the fire element wont do anything but it wont do as mutch.

why fear the uknown when you can conquer and eat it
when in doubt kill it with fire that seems to do it

Raw and element hit seprate.  So raw will hit as normal.

Fire will just be reduced.

Fighting fire with fire is what got me kicked out of the firebrigade.    Your raw damage should be enough to cut it though

my friend staggered white fata with Flame S.  like loads.  I KILLED white fata with Flame S.  And White Fata has some resistance against fire.

It still does the damage, but like said, just reduced.  Funny to shoot Thunder S on a Khezu and watch it die though.

Especially funny to watch Gypceros get poisoned.  or hypnoc put to sleep...
