Kirin can be a block for a lot of hunters, so i made this thread. Trust me, kirin is EASY. This thread is for any help about kirin you want. If you're posting please also include a newbie tip for future kirin ANNHILATORS!!!!
Ok, I'm village 5* and I kill kirin for fun. But i also want a kirin thunder tail, is it Hi rank/G only??
My piece of advice: Bull tusk hammer is godly against it.
I am utterly disappointed that pokemon are not in monster hunter.

i agree but not that easy .. kelbi never shoots lightning though LOL! i find it easy to fight with SNS with my Flame Syphos then... now i upgraded it to Black Doom FLame... once u know Kirin's movements (that is when it shoots its lightning) its not that hard... though dont like fighting it at the same time like facing the dual kirin.... the only thing why it pisses hunters off coz u have to chase it then and then...

But most people facing their 1st kirin won't've killed a black grav b4 tho.
Tip:kirin does 4 different thndr attacks, thndr charge, thndr spread shot, thndr line, thndr circle. learn the differences.

i killed my first kirin by red saber... i just upraded it then to flame syphos but still same tactics i used to kill it... hammers awesome but its not me... :) SNS is pretty useful when guarding kirin's charging attack

I agree, SnS is easy. I use Weary Finsword hoping that I can get it to fall asleep and realize it in time not to attack again. Sleep Bombing works very well with Kirin in my experience~

haha you are thick... u think kirin is easy? wait till you get to HR9 then post your epic fail here. Never slag off a monster unless you've beaten it on all difficulties otherwise you'll get on my bad side an you dont wna be there! |

HR9 Kirin is difficult.. Before that though it's a joke if you gun it, Yama Cannon makes quick work out of every one of them up until HR9.

HR9 is easier imo, more attacks=more predictable. None of the kirins are *hard* once you learn the pattern, after that its just monotonous hit and run tactics. Its fun if you bring some high powered weapons and get Kirin in a corner, can endlessly stagger/trip him if you are good.
