this is an epic hunting quest and it has rathalos, tigrex, narga, and rajang. the monsters in this quest r, i think, stronger than G-rank monsters. right now i have Diablos Z, Yamastukami set, Ukanlos set, lavasoith set. i use longswords and i have all element longsword full upgrade and i have rathian poison and yamatsukami paralysis longsword. Anyone know wat armor and weapon i should use for this quest? |

Akantor is Urgent, Last quest you get is "Monster Hunter" They have g-rank strength, but Hp is around that of Single High ranks (abit more) Buty not as high as G-ranks.

ya that monster hunter quest. their strength unbelievable. i got this quest after i defeated akantor. though i did it after i finish all the quest in gathering hall except fatalis family. |

I'd suggest the Ukanlos armor set. You can get ESP and Sharpness +1, which are just about the most important offensive skills. It has almost the highest defense in the game (so getting hit after roars shouldn't kill you). The other useful skill it has naturally is Quake Res. Not a huge deal, but at the end of the fight against Rajang, the last thing you want is to die from getting quaked. As for a weapon, I'd suggest going with the Edelweiss Ice Blade+ (high raw, some element, and great sharpness) or just a raw power one. Out of all the elements, it does the most damage on average between those monsters.
Best hunter to step into Pokke. Immortal slayer of Rathalos.

woohoo i finally beat it using narga armor with s-rank narga helm and jewel for evade+2, evade distance, and reckless adandon+2, with narga shadow of the moon longsword. i died once though :P Thanks for advice. also the reward i got r g-rank materials. |
