Good weapon for village Lao?

Zac Posts: 3	My best weapon is my Poison Battle Axe. Whats a good weapon I should make for this upcoming boss? (Two quests away) Also, I'm most skilled With the SnS, DS, and Hammer. I have some skill with the GS, and on certain monsters I can lance.

Church Posts: 273	ok this is what i got for yah His full name is Lao-Shan Lung, which means 'Old Mountain Dragon' in Cantonese. From this, we can pretty much assume where Lao hails from. He is a gigantic dragon (yes, dragon - not wyvern) covered in crimson scales. By gigantic, I ask you to envision several five-storie apartments lined horizontally and connected. Lao is weak to the dragon element on weapons, which also means the Dragon S ammo has a very powerful effect on him. also he is weak agenst fire AND you can carve it 12 times and an extra 3 on his back when he is alive HAPPY HUNTING if this helps at all please tell me if not i dont want to know : ( Hr.8 Draco. Favorite sets is my Narga S, and Khezu X.

If you are using hammer or lance attack the belly, the part that hangs down, major damage. Lao has a TOTAL of 12 carves that includes the 3 from the back. that is: 3 from the head 3 from the chest 3 from the tail + 3 extra from jumping on its back during the first 4 areas I would reccomend mining and trying to find an eternal strife from the rust stones. Gustavo Posts: 6	for hammer i would go with the anvil hammer which has 884 raw damage and adds 1 def. it can be made from the iron hammer. As for gs i would go with the judgement which has 1104 raw damage and can be made from the iron sword. but as for me i just use my shiny eternal schisms which get the job done with 182 raw damage and 510 dragon damage.
