3-6 months i can handle with this job. it'd make for a very nice present to myself and if mh3 gets a world wide release at once(I highly doubt it but who knows) then wii will be next year.

That's a great news :P

Now I have even more motivation to entierly complete Complete MHF2 (have couple of weapons and armors to go and that's it). Hopefully they won't change it too much, that is if they modify anything beside the translated text. And about contents, if they keep the tickets locked and such (or simply call them dummy), someone could try to see if that little wireless connection forwarding trick he/she thought about still work to download different contents. hehehe.

Anyways. Thank you Capcom for hearing us and actually taking advices from the fans that we are... Now don't screw up when it comes to advertising the game.

Just give us the date of release and I will pre-order 4 copies :P

Thanks.

I really hope the online play will function well through the PS3 as a "router". Never got into the Xlink kai scene so this will be my first oppurtunity to play MH with other players, be nice to see what it's like to take some monsters down as a team instead of just alone. Ofcourse it'd be even more fun over Frontier but hey I guess we have to take what we can get and take one step at a time. If MH3 has a good online setup and functionality it may well trump Frontier in that aspect, heres hoping we get that tossed our way too.

double posting this in both this thread and the gameplay vid thread in hopes of an answer...

dont mean to jump the gun here but I fail to see dual swords,
longswords, bows, hunting horns, lances, or gunlances, either in the movie or on the
website that details the controls....did they cut weapons to accomidate
the new controls?

Wow... No really wow.. It makes me wonder how smart Capcom really is.. Really another PSP port.. I waited so long for F2G and never got it so i got P2G and finished it.. Portable 2G was hard at first and annoyying and old... Impossible to play by yourself!!!! Now online using PS3!!!??? Are you serious Capcom!? Im gonna throw down over $300 just to play another psp port of MH after i saw what MH3 can do!? Serious... Cool for the people who wasted and or got the PS3 while they could but i dont have the money to do all that and im sure alot of people are in my position aswell. Now if this game doesnt sell good because of those reasons Capcom wont give us MH Tri for sure... Cool America will get another MH game cool but be real using PS3 online... My question is why.. WHY not just give us MH Tri for the Wii it would sell a hell of alot better and after seeing what the consoles can do... I dont even feel like going back to the PSP... It seems that my love, my will to save hope for Monster Hunter is finally about to die.

Agree, like i said before why you need to buy and use a PS3 for play online in your PSP, if Capcom can make a MH for PS3 with online mode. I dont have a PS3 and if you ask me i prefer to buy a  Xbox :P and other point is .....Why i have to buy buy a PS3  if i can play with Xlinkai :P???

So i really prefer that MHU work with infrastructure so i can and everyone can play happy ^^.

But like i said before.. Capcom is going to Choose the right decission, because they dont want to screw this ^^ and get mad with MH US and Europe fans again :P

Go Capcom Go I have trust in you ;)

Unless you buy 12 million copies of Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, and do a write-in campaign for Batsu....

No offence, but we have heard of other 'releases' that never happened. When we hear a date, then and only then will there be cause for celebration. So far, we only see Monster Hunter Tri evidence, and that is in Japanese. We all know that Japan will get Monster Hunter everything because it is a huge $$ maker (not to mention it rates a "BRAND" distinction, unlike here).

Bottom line: a name copyright = good. no release date = bad, Unite thread = good, "Heard it before" = bad.

Burn me once = shame on you (Monster Hunter Dos). Burn me twice = shame on me.
