I'm having trouble getting my corset to look right for this costume it just seem a little off. i think i dont have the right material to be making this.

Okay so I wanted to make a Summoner Yuna costume. I'm not the type of person that is going to spend a lot of money on fabric that I'm just going to mess up at least once, so instead of buying fabric in yards I bought two $4.00 flat bed sheets one is navy blue for Yuna's skirt the other is white for her top and then I also have bought two white pillow cases for the sleeve/ arm warmer things. I haven't begun to even try to make the obi yet since I'm probably going to have to paint it or embroider it.

I want to make Midna from twilight princess but i'm not sure how to make or even start on the thing she wears on her head in imp form.

so does anyone have any ideas that could help?
