Reinstall issue

After computer problem caused need for system recovery, I attempted to reinstall MotoGP 08 and all seemed to go well.  Upon starting game and clicking to begin a new career, I recieve notice that there are no save slots available and am asked if I want to delete old save?  If i click to continue this step, game closes and back to desktop I go.  Where in the install directory does this game save careers and such?  Don't know, tried several reinstalls with no luck.  Thank you.

Is there actually ANY Capcom involvement on this forum?  Seems as though their policy to handle problems with their games is to ignore it and let someone else hash it out for them, is that about right?  No direct contact information, no tech support other than this forum...........I guess the best way to ensure no problems with Capcom products is to purchase a different companies games.  Never seen this level of indifference from a company.  I'll give the motogp franchise another look after 2012 IF Capcom is not involved after that.

Thanks for the reply, but nah.......that had nothing like what I'm experiencing.  Guess I'll just wait until there's some proof that Capcom gives a damn to check and see if there's a fix or an idea.  Thanks for taking the time to post and try to help bro.  More than the maker of the thing cares to do.

Thanks for the reply Walken, but I never recieve the activation email from that site to ask the question.  Besides, I notice that not alot of questions are answered on that forum either.  The post about finding savegames on the computer may be a good resource for me to look into, but it recieved no real reply on there.  Thanks for your suggestion though.

There is no other MotoGP Racing site for PC than Network-Challenge! Now that your a member there maybe I can sway you to play some Gp1 or 2, hehe...


We have a REAL time recorder thanks to KMASnake, which works great and is cheat free. Hope you stay with us for years to come!Cool
