Well if that is true, then I wish for Monumental to study Climax's Gp1 very closely even if the handling is an interpretation of what Climax thought  to resemble real world physics.

As it seems to promote a real sense of reality on a screen to me.

It reminds me of controlling a mini remote bike, which in essence is what you are doing playing a video game IMO..

(-A personal note-)

If I want to feel a 500cc 2 stroke bike's animal instincts and unpredictable nature I'll just go ride one! IMO no video game can even come close to that feeling.

Excuse me, MotoGP 3 URT... go to my profile and watch my videos.

Agree, but I do prefer MotoGP 3 URT. has much better handling, acceleration, braking; With these kind of setups I'm able to hold the line and or maintaining speed without smashing the front rider, also I'm able to follow the front rider and wait for an opportunity to pass or do overtakes, overall the game is the best thus far. This game is very demanding and takes a lot of time to master it. It's just not go for the #1 finish line win, for me is to make the race as look alike as a real race.

If Capcom / Monumental can bring it like that, ( of course killer graphics is a must ), I'll be jumping joy !

MotoGP is the world’s premier motorcycling championship,... What about the game?

Uh.... Walken I hate to break it to you and I know you think the world of GP1 as do i but there is absolutely NOTHING realistic with the breaking , or anything else for that matter in GP1. As a matter of fact nothing that Climax ever put out ever remotely resembled riding a motorcycle

Thank you!!!!  I have ridden a bike at speeds at and around 170mph.  I have never used a rear brake to SLOW down rather use it to get the bike to track properly.  I am sick and tired of this lame talk of old games that never really represented the way a bike actually works.  People want to play this game but don't not cause of the difficulty but because of the stupid "artistic liscense" when it comes to how a bike works.

IMO, I think its important to keep in mind we are talking about video games here. Even though the game is trying to emulate reality theres a limit to emulated reality where the adreniline rush is apple & oranges, where reality is a given and fantasy is promoted by fiction.

Agree 100%, It is some times hard to believe that people has a very short and selective memory.

Watch my video entitle "MotoGP Gameplay" , and enjoy the excitement of MotoGP 3 URT, me riding as Valentino Rossi battle with Marco Melandri at Brno Circuit.

Mode: LEGEND.

Steve, I'd rather risk sounding like a broken record than having a bad game, so I'll repeat a question (as yet unanswered) from the "Your questions 3" thread: will the 360 controls be fully mappable?

If I want to use the right stick for throttle/front brake, will I be able to do so?

Yeah it is a game that is called MOTO GP, a real world sport that has been around for quite a few years.  This is no secret and needs to be represented as it is in the real world as close as possible.  You want arcade go and buy Mario cart.  You want fantasy go and get halo.  You want mOTO gp?  Are you sure?

Hi

Your question has been added to the list. I'll be posting three more Q&A threads during June, so keep the questions coming in.
