Something that's not been asked is, are the tracks going to reproduce elevation better? The only game that comes close is Forza 2 and even that's not 100% correct, Mugello for example has more elevation than games show.

Capcom to launch new MotoGP game for start of 2010 season

...plus the ability to update the game with accurate content from the 2010 championship

Thank you for recommend my concern about to update the game with accurate content from the current season and I hope this feature stays as part of the game.

..... brand new gameplay modes that offer rewards to the rider for their riding style

What it means by "rewards to the rider for their riding style"?

Riding style means: Sliding, burn outs, undo, skids?... please explain

What kind of rewards are going to be?

Arcade mode is not limited to a simple first to take the chequered flag mechanic, but adds a variety of challenges where players can earn and steal points from their opponents, encouraging a risk element for those who feel that simply leading the pack isn't enough

Is this a mere way to encouraging people to cheat?... please explain

Complementing Career Mode, MotoGP09/10 will feature three other gameplay modes to deliver a MotoGP experience that will appeal to followers of the world's premier motorcycle

"...will feature three other gameplay modes".. please explain?

MotoGP is the world’s premier motorcycling championship,... What about the game?

+ Will there be crash damage & if so, will it affect the bike's handling?

+ In addition to the first bullet point, where are the injuries?

I've been in a motorcycle accident & you don't just hit the ground only to jump right up & run back to a brand new looking bike in 100% health. Maybe this would be good for career mode. Skill level should be impacted after an injury. Even season ending injuries, maybe even career ending injuries.

+ What are the chances of having a more in depth bike customization?

It'd be nice to have the ability to build a bike from the ground up with the ability to choose tires, shocks, exhaust, etc. Setting up a winning bike piece by piece is part of the MotoGP experience. Unfortunately, simply assigning a point value detracts from the technical aspect of MotoGP where setting up things like Sag & all of your suspension attributes are a huge factor in a rider's success.

+ Will rider customization be improved?

The current setup does not allow for you to create an icon in the sport. I'd like the ability to further customize leathers & helmets so it doesn't appear so stock. A lot of the "fun factor" in games today is the ability to go deep into customizing your own experience. i.e. Forza

+ Will there be consequences to jostling with other riders?

Although the AI can & will cause you to crash at times, it seems that I am able to run into someone ahead of me only to find that their on-bike composure would remain unchanged & all I do is simply slow down. Its nice if I go into a corner a bit hot but it isn't realistic.

Note:

Career mode is too limited. Maybe by putting an age to a rider would be of benefit so that it is more of an option to retire as they get up in years versus cutting a career to 5 years. Also, as aforementioned, have injuries also play a part into the riders career length as well as their riding skill. If I had a wrist injury my cornering ability might be affected for the rest of my career.

Will the Wii version online? And will it have all of the features the HD versions will have?

"We have a broad Wii portfolio. I don't see that changing in the future. " - Sven

"How many Wii titles have online co-op, even from Nintendo?" - Sven... so you want Capcom to be as mediocre as the rest of Wii developers? Figures.

Lobbies, will there be:

Championships with points

Ranking alongside your Tag in ALL lobbies

Ability to alter your bike set-up ,extremely useful if someone suggests trying a particular "set-up" during chatting, also for helping newcomers with set-ups.  Not forgetting different tracks/weather the host throws at ya.

View leaderboards

Results screen, winners bike doing a victory lap, the ability to control your winning bike, do dohnuts, wheelies, burnouts, gestures (one fingerLaughing)....always thought that would be a blast & fun

With regards to host will they be able to:

Reset a Championship (useful for latecomers, best to 100 points)

Change Weather, Laps, tracks,Collisions On/Off (useful due to lag & bad racers)

Boot undesirables

..........................

The tricky part is if you give full control like "forcing" Onboard View/Manual then it  fragments lobbies,  instead of everyone playing together.  Likewise I wouldn't want to force 3rd Person/Automatic for exactly the same reason......SBK did that and it was a nightmare sitting on the line not aware what was about to unfold!

I still think Manual should have a speed advantage over auto mind...and I ride autoLaughing

I'd like to ask more about the samples.  One of the biggest problems with the previous games was scenery impacting on the samples or lack of.  Samples before were just that, samples.

e.g. When coming down the main Losail straight the engine sound should tunnel somewhat bouncing off the pit wall and stadium.  And when it hit's open air the sound changes beacuse the surroundings have.   Thus immersion is greatly increased.  Will the team be working on this aspect?
