Thank you for that Pod cast.. Hmmm raises wonder about not having a rank # next to your gamer tag in a online lobby. I bet there is no overall rank, only individual track rankings? Also on the Official MotoGP09/10 site there's the leaderboard section? Could be set up for ranking outside of either PSN/Xbl? Codemasters did a ranking system for Toca 3, where you would be presented a code which you would enter at the Official Codemasters site and receive your lap time in the ranks (Hall of Fame). It was PC/Ps2/xbox ranks all together...

actually my attention's foused on pivot's bike ..as i understood we gonne have both pivots.in the middle of the bike and at the bottom (best way 4 all i guess).if so and future gameplay will show this..im gone buy e console and will not use until the game comes out finally u r on the right way ! ciaooooo |

In one of the Q&As it was mentioned there won't be an overall rank, personally I would have liked to see an overall rank as this gives the top the respect they deserve and gives everyone else a goal to beating their PB's and working up the rankings. In the podcast it was said this cannot be done, it can, as it has been done before in previous games, on the previous console though. On the Climax's games the Ranked Room causes a problem as, as soon a race has started no one else can join, let's hope this is not the case in this game, it forces everyone to play in Player Rooms. On MotoGP 08 and SBK, you have one race and the room finishes, please don't do this either. It's a shame there is no overall ranking as it defeats the purpose of Ranked Rooms. Talking of Player Rooms and Ranked Rooms, are we going to be able to set PB's in Player Rooms as well as Ranked Rooms?

It doesn't look like a very large problem especially as the humble XBOX was capable of doing so. Is it something to do with Microsoft Policy? then if so they need informing that certain stuff works for certain games, MGP in case. The reason the Rank is so important : One very LARGE carrot for longevity. Room placements when organising Leagues. Immediate indication of the other racers merits when entering a lobby. And I'm not talking from the position of being No1, just that we all have our own small battles with friends/foes. As Mush enquired please don't tell me the Ranking Room System like MGP07 is going to be used as it stinks. It might seem like a trivial request although it's the small stuff that effects the bigger "picture" I was one of those that posed the question and the reply isn't what I was hoping for, for obvious reasons if you constantly play the game. If anyone asked me what I disliked about MGP07 the first reply would be the way the Ranking System worked . What is the problem? |

Joe, it seems logical to me to have an overall ranking in the lobby which changes with the class you choose in the lobby, I.E; 250's- that overall rank would come up (overall position across all tracks) 125's- that overall rank would come up GP- That overall rank would come up e.tc, e.t.c (Could blink between Overall rank, championship points and your personal best for that track)

Haha I actually had to listen to it twice to make sure what I heard was right !! "You cant display ranking as a number" ..... Sorry, How did Climax show your Ranking as a number, How did Forza do it, How did everyone else do it ... You take the 17 tracks for the season take the times and make an overall scoreboard ... thats your ranking ... Do that for all 3 classes and then you have 3 individual Rankings ... If you wanna do it a different way do it over the 49 tracks (125 and 250 dont go to Laguna) and then the overall gives you who's fastest over the whole game ... I dont think its not "Possible" I just think you cant be bothered !!
