Q: I disagree about tuck in as an action where you press a button. .You could achieve a better result by having rider position on the left stick fully manual. When the rider tucks in leaning forward he puts more weight on the front to keep the rear wheel down and by doing this, the rear end becomes lighter, so when you come into the corner you have to reposition him in order to balance the weight in order to prevent the rear wheel from sliding out.

The tuck-in and shift weight are being unified after extensive consumer playtest feedback.

Ok can someone tell me  about this extensive consumer playtest and who exactly has been doing the testing. Enquiring minds want to know

Yeah Tom, Greg, Steve....

Who has been testing extensively? So why offer to have forum members loose beta this Monstrocity at this point? The more info that comes in the more faith I lose. :(

If I was an umpire I would be counting the strikes, but at this point it looks like I'm Walken... lol.....

I still like HeYJoes saying "Suck it and See" lol....   I don't know who's doing the suckin? But I guess I'll see..

I will say this Monumental....

Interms of advice/beta sorta testing, more like hands on opinion, IMO. If you allow Mushs Friend Splat to test the game and have the final say on handling physics, then you can Kiss my ass goodbye! Ciao :)

This is turning into a nightmare, like when Gp3 was released, and I remember Poosplat saying to me, """ewwwwww Walken, Brilliant game mate aye? Ewwwwwww, yes yes...."  Oh no please Lord help meeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!! NOOOoooooooOOOooooohohohohoohohohohoh.../........

MotoGP Sucked after Gp2 and my Opinion isn't a lonely one. It just can't be backed up as much anymore because the people who Loved it have long since left.....

Theres only 3 people from Xbla I'd trust, Dan, Pitkin or Heyjoe!  Maybe even Daz, infact I think Daz got a bit of Education over the years with Brittman...

Q: Most importantly the bikes must have some way of making them different to each other for online racing, so we don't get 16 Rossi’s, typically with decals (not just helmets).

You have to remember that we are restricted by our licensors, so we can’t change the Valentino Rossi look in anyway as this would be in breach of contract. We can offer base bikes decorated in custom ways though, which you will see in the career mode.

So basicly some fidling with racing numbers and rim colors perhaps?  I fail to see the problem with editable liveries regarding licensing. It's been done in 07 and I for one wouldn't even want to edit Rossi's leathers, I want to MAKE MY OWN like in 07.

Q: Is MotoGP09/10 going to allow fully mappable controller input?

Not currently. This is because of the amount of risk and cost relating to testing every possible control permutation. We will try and include all control suggestions posted on the forums, so please try and express your desired layout on the forum thread ASAP.

What about people who like to use racing wheels? I find the wheel to be more natural than using a controller and it also gives me more control over the rider, allowing me to make fine adjustments to my racing line.

Ahhh dude let me get this straight, you use a race WHEEL for a motorcycle game?  Not to try and start anything but that is really different.  I have never heard of anyone doing that, more power to you but I don't think it makes good sence to do that.  Believe me if that was something that made anyone fast we would all have known about it years ago.  You might want to use the controller and learn it.  But do what makes your feel comfortable.

Ditto, building a custom bike was a big part of the game. Most people use their custom bike online and I'm not just talking with decals, building up the bike and unlocking credits prolonged the life of the game, along with being able to experiment with gear set ups.

The beautiful thing about this and a major reason why they need it is because every bike looks different.  You can tell who you are among the pack.  The grid isn't full of all Rossi's oir whomever.  People still use the traditional liveries but it makes for a much better experience.  STEVE please make the case for this.

I have used a controller with Tourist Trophy on the PS2 but I just prefer the wheel. Granted it does not make me faster but I can not bring myself to play using a gamepad. To me the wheel is the most realistic form of control for a bike racing game given the fact that handlebars are not available.

Good observation, I assume that you're playing on PC, right?, perhaps you should try it with the PS3 or Xbox 360 controller, have you?, Since I have using it I have a total difference experience with PC games.

MotoGP is the world’s premier motorcycling championship,... What about the game?
