Clmax Game Series provides (3) three chase cam views and all of them shows the correct leaning angles seeing from different perspectives. The best view for a decent gameplay 3rd person's cam view, is the " 2nd chase ", any other views are not playable. The problem is that on videos shown from Monumental have whoever is playing showed not his best gameplay and also very important has to be mention the bad animation offered on those video clips that makes it look awful, Keeping in mind that frame rate animations will dictate how smooth the gameplay will look, an Xbox 360 or a PS3 can handle a 60 frames rate/sec with any problems; So, I do not see any obstacle for creating smooth animations, such as correct body positions, leaning of bike/rider, turns of apex racing line. Also very important is how well is the track dimentions, having a stretched and wide looking track will not make you have a possible better game play if the geometry of the turns / apex have a wrong angle.

MotoGP is the world’s premier motorcycling championship,... What about the game?

PS Juho did you ever play/ Mod Gp500?

No, it was before I got into bikes / bike games.  I've been watching clips on youtube though. It's amazing how the genre hasn't been able to evolve at all since GP 500 / SBK 2001.

In car games, the features, depth and immersion keeps improving little by little, but in bike games the developers are still struggling to get the basics right.

you're right. it's like i always say you have a 10 year old game like Gp500 that gets it right with ll the mods that have followed, same with SBK 2001. However hardware has taken huge leaps forward  graphics cards , processors , physics card, and yet motorcycle games continue deteriorating. Car games seem to be getting better though

In real life Motorcycling & Motorcycle sport are dwarfed by cars, i imagine it'll be the same when it comes to budgets for video games (bike games getting a smaller amount spent on them), maybe this means the Dev's can't afford the tech stuff needed to make an 'exceptional' looking game (I'm no expert so this is just my take on it).

One thing i've picked up on with 09/10 is that pretty much every video released so far has looked poor, every time we see a new & complain about how it looks Steve says that the issues we notice have been fixed (but the video had already been put together - so it was to late to show us the rectified footage), yet all subsequent videos still look bad - when will the game actually begin to look like a "next gen" title ?.

Steve, can the Dev's answer this simple question: Will the wonky rider animation get fixed anytime soon ?, i'm so fed up seeing the riders feet sticking out & their knees/elbows pointing inwards - just take a look at 08's rider animation, while not perfect it's better than 09/10 is currently showing us !

According to Steve, ...

2:22 PM Nov 2nd. Greg Bryant: Producer - 800cc "handling is now nailed, it's starting to feel really nice, esp when you pushing on the long sweeping corners!"

... there's more info out there than any one would think, MotoGP 09/10 is already according to some sources as being as a fantastic success.

YEah well I and most of us will be the judge of that.  I could care less really what any other site says.  If the game is good then we shall see it first hand.  If it sucks then the same will be ture.  I can say for one that since the past few games had been released, reading the reviews just made me realize that they didn't know squat about the game and how it should work.  I bet they all could review a halo like nobodys business.

Making excuses for old footage and etc doesn't get far with any of us.  Steve and the crew will have to do better than what they have so far.

"Bike Handling" isn't whats bugging me - it the riders position on the bike that is now & has always looked horrid, It may have no effect on how the bike handles but it just looks very cheaply done. I know we're not going to get riders that all have their own individual riding style - fair enough, but take a look at a video or screen shots and you'll see what i'm on about:

Just look at the position of the legs - it looks horrid, this is an old screen shot but the newer ones are no better & still look poor.

Now look at last years model:

I know the camera angle is totally different but it doesn't disguise the fact that 08 pretty much nailed the way a 'Human' moves on a bike compared to what we're being shown now, It's about time Monumental raised their game !.

Even when the bikes are on a straight the 09/10 riders look naff - what the hell are the dev's playing at ?

I Found this on Facetube, not sure if this has already been posted. It's another talentless bell end playing it but it seems to be new footage:
